Sneaker enthusiasts and fans of Kanye West got to meet the man himself at the launch of his adidas Yeezy 750 Boost in NYC on Saturday morning. The rapper made a surprise appearance at the adidas Originals store in SoHo, personally presenting customers with a pair of the highly coveted hi-top sneaker. Retailing at $350, the shoe launched exclusively in New York City for NBA All-Star Weekend, where the only way to obtain a pair was on the newly launched adidas Confirmed app, which opened reservations on Thursday afternoon following Kanye’s adidas collection unveiling at a New York Fashion Week event.

The adidas Yeezy 750 Boost will launch worldwide on Saturday, February 28 at adidas flagship stores and select Consortium.
