Kanye West stopped by the mothership today to chat with homie Angie about his new album.

Wow. Not only is Kanye using the autotuner like T-pain, but he is also wearing T-Pain’s glasses.
I am still not sure what to think of this song or Love Lockdown. I heard some good songs on this album, but his two singles still have me confused.

Miss Info, can you let your station know that the podcasts aren’t working? They haven’t been working for about a week and I would like to listen to the Beyonce interview and the Kanye interview. Are they going to fix this?

I am actually liking this album.
And the only part I caught on that show was Alicia, Queen Latifah and Kathleen Battle performance, and looking at the other clips it was the best thing smoking on that show last night. Oh Pink was good too, if you’re into that.

I like this album and I know why. At the moment, my heart and soul are in a bad place. I feel down and this album really lets me tap in to that darkness. I know that sounds horrible but it is what it is.

True indeed. Im in the same boat. Im not gonna put my life out there but sometimes you need songs like these just to zone out. Kaynes not crazy, hes depressed. Not to say im glad hes depressed, more or less im not the only one. If I could be as musically inclined as kayne; chances are I would put out a album that sounds like this. Everything isn’t about bitchs and bankrolls. People act like Hes the only dude who feels bad.

Kanye is too good for hip hop so he wants to conquer RnB with a auto tuner as life support. Listened to the whole album and that shit was not dope at all..I wouldn’t mind just instrumentals without him trying to sing on them though.

Info Its funny that when artists in the caliber of Kanye and Lauryn get money and accolades i.e. awards recognition and celebrity and then have nothing to worry about bills wise (unlike us regular folk) all of a sudden the other ARTISTIC partof their character magically appears. Im sure if this was their first album we as consumers would not be subject to such nonsense and drivel. They would be forced to give us the quality we deserve as fans. Whats your take on this phenomenon?

I like a lot of his songs on this album but his singles are wack. People all over the world say that they are sick of the auto tune voice. Why would he do that on an entire album? Consistency is always good but at this point its annoying.

Is it just ME or did Kanye just STOP (COLD TURKEY) grooming himself??!!
I heard him hollering (singing) on 106 & Park yesterday, whadda shame.
When he debuted his 1st single on ELLEN I knew he was buggin’. I aint buyin’ THIS joint! Save it for the “Ellens” of the world…(it’s ALOT of them).
