Last night, Samsung pulled out all the stops for the launch of their new Galaxy Note II. The new smartphone/tablet definitely looks like it will the iPad’s number 1 competitor. Reps from the company put on a swank presentation and party for media in New York City to preview the new device, which included a video endorsement from Lebron James. But that wasn’t the only superstar out to support the Note II. As the evening’s surprise performer Kanye West closed out the event with an hour long set. For less than 500 people, Yeezy put it on like he was performing at Barclays for the first time. We got pieces of College Dropout all the way through Cruel Summer. His only special guest was 2 Chainz, but Ye spit another freestyle over “Say Will You.” As you guessed the theme of Ye’s verse was around a random encounter with a female.
