Why is everyone acting like they can’t buy more than 1 album on the same day? I know for a fact that I’m getting both albums on 9/11 and most likely so will a whole bunch of other consumers. I still think 50 is gonna sell 850K and Kanye is gonna sell 550K units (1st week sales) but Hip Hop is boring right now and at least this is adding some excitement without some1 being shot, sued, stabbed, or going to jail.

let’s say I sell 20 Million + albums worldwide and about to release my ‘3rd’….that’s right 3rd album, I really don’t think i’d be insecure, I’m pretty sure i’d be sitting comfortable jsut where I was with my money i have already made…Why did 50 accept the debate…why not, ur on tv, its publicity for your album, etc. not to mention the fact that he probably thought it was a stupid ass idea but when ur asked something like that on the spot…being as big as 50 is and being on the most watched video show in the world he pretty much had no choice but to agree..i mean he had the choice but he is always thinkin business so thats what u gotta keep in mind whenever you feel like anaylzing 50’s decisions.

I blame Rocsi’s whack ass (she’s definitely no Free) for all that debate nonsense. She thought she was being clever (puhleeze – someone kick that bird off the air). You could tell 50 thought is was a bad idea initially but she cut him off midsentence and agreed to it b/c he was placed on the spot and doesn’t backdown from challenges. Kanye had the luxury of a couple of days to come w/ a response and called it retarded, which it was. May I argue that if 50 had been the one to turn it down though it some of ya’ll would be running around saying 50 scared, blah, blah, blah. Anyhoo, I don’t know why everyone is acting like Kanye and 50 got beef. Kanye reached out to 50 and even produced a track for him on Curtis. And didn’t Miss Info just say 50 said Kanye should have been higher on the hot rapper list? Yes, Sept. 11 will be competitive, that’s the nature of the game, but there’s no heated beef there. At least not between the artists, just between their craziest stans. LOL!

@T.PrOv…yes 50 has sold millions of albums, but there is very little buzz about this new album. He only has one decent single!!! What I am saying is that it is bad enough to be worried about your album getting good numbers, but it is even worse to think about another rapper taking that top spot! He would probably prefer ‘Now That’s Music’ or ‘Hannah Montana’ to beat him out over Kanye because then at least he could say something about a different demographic…blah, blah, blah. If Kanye wins there is no excuse! There was never any doubt that his other albums would be #1, but I personally don’t feel this album. You can believe he is not worried if you want to, but you are wrong!
The debate was childish plain and simple. He shouldn’t have bought into it.
