Justin Timberlake tops the chart. The entertainer’s new album, Man of the Woods, debuts No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. With contributions from Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Alicia Keys and Chris Stapleton, Timberlake’s fifth studio LP moved 293,000 equivalent album units opening week according to Nielsen Music. From that sum, a whopping 242,000 were in traditional album sales (139,000 – digital albums, 89,000 – CD sales and 15,000 – vinyl LP sales). Man of the Woods becomes J.T’s fourth No. 1 album, following The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) (2013), The 20/20 Experience (1 of 2) (2013) and FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006). Only 2002’s Justified failed to top the album chart, debuting at No. 2. The 37-year-old also has two No. 1 albums with his *NSYNC group back in 2000’s No Strings Attached and 2001’s Celebrity.

The news comes exactly one week after Timberlake’s headlining performance at the 2018 NFL Super Bowl LII halftime show. The singer will now shift focus on his upcoming “Man of the Woods” North American tour, running from Mar. 13 – May 30.
