Juelz Santana returned home on Friday (Apr. 6), after being in jail for nearly one month. The Dipset rapper was in federal custody after an incident at Newark Liberty International Airport on Mar. 9, after allegedly fleeing and leaving a .38-caliber handgun and drugs in his luggage. The Harlem native, real name LaRon James, would surrender himself to police three days later. The 36-year-old was ordered to be released into the custody of his mother by a judge reports NorthJersey.com. A $500,000 bond was secured by his mother’s Englewood home, and Santana has been ordered to wear an ankle monitor and be under 24-hour lockdown.

I’m just happy to be in God’s graces,” James said outside the federal courthouse Friday. “I was praying every day. He came through for me … just gotta do the right thing, do everything I need to do the right thing so I stay home.”
