Juelz Santana on the Dipset truce: “if the fans want an album, we could do that”

Mikey: With Cam and Jimmy now on speaking terms, a full Dipset reunion seems more than likely. However, a key part of the equation has remained tight lipped about his feelings regarding the reunion rumors… until now.
On the Angie Martinez Show this afternoon, Juelz revealed that regardless of what happened in the past, he is also willing to put the BS to the side and make this Dipset thing happen again.
“At the end of the day I’m willing to be a big person and put whatever I got to put to the side, if the fans want an album, we could do that.”

Vado would eat Juelz and Cam is still nice. Everything else is accurate.
Personally I’d welcome a Dipset reunion but I’m far more interested in the UN movement.

i hope this works out but it seems like theres no real love between them any more, that means the chemistry will be gone. i like dipset but this seems too forced. juelz need to focus on his solo album. i think jim and cam need to find new talent for their labels.

I think in general people are happy to see Dipset back together as a movement but not really looking forward to hearing them rap together. To be honest I’d rather see Cam’ron push Vado hard (no homo) and throw a couple of Hell Rell, 40 Cal features than Cam, Jim and Juelz on a song. As long as they all show up in each others videos its all good, but it seems like Cam and Juelz relationship is broken forever, he still sounds very bitter.

a its good dip set are all coming together.and their friends again.but see im gonna throw something out their things like this need to happend.dip set and d block album an album with d block and dipset.i think that album will go 3xplat easy and plus have good music behind it.i think rap needs to change by doing things like this.and i kno if that does happend theirs a lot of money to split cause its gonna be a lot of people ok so do a double album 16 tracks each cd. when red and meth did it it was crazy when dr dre does his albums their mostley colab albums witch are also crazy so wat about it.

Juelz need them more than a little bit. When is this Reagan Era album dropping? Never. Is he even signed to Def Jam anymore? Just swallow your pride and get money the best way you can and thats being a part of Dipset.

xrendellx made a good point. Juelz would prob b better off doing his own thing. He has never got what he should have. He should be where Wayne is at right now, and plus I don’t think he will ever 4get how Cam pretty much called him a crackhead.

Dip Set time is done. Another album would be good for their fans, but its a wrap. And note to Cam and ‘em: Don’t do a freakin’ sequel like Rawkwon, CNN, and Busta Rhymes…pleasssse #kthanxbye

and all the NY people rush to comment on how Dips will bring back “real hip hop”, “good look for the streets especially since rap is so watered down” etc.
not realizing that Dipset were watered down rappers from the get-go. and a huge part of the reason the South took over was NY’s lack of quality control on its rappers, while the South was making better music. I mean, why hate on Jeezy and then big up Jim Jones? Outside of NY, i think most people rate them on the same skill. Jim might even be lower. News flash: they’re both wack.
Sure the Dips had bangers (some of their tracks are bonafide hip hop classics), but their time is done. They were mostly wack, and would be even wacker now.
rant over. let the hate begin.

i love dip set diplomatic immunity still one of my fav albums from ether days still got the cd one of the last actual cds i actually purchased before karma got the best of the music bizz but any hows this whole thing they say its for the fans but i donno like if it was for the fans they woulda done it earlier like remember cams video sayin no way forget about it, i mean it more seems like they dibanded found out they werent as string as they were apart and were all becoming regular mixtape rappers with a short life span left in this climate and cam n jim decided non of them can get records out or the same kinda love they had when they were all together i think its more the harsh reality of that kicking in thats humbled them all see failed crews, U.N., Byrd Gang, Skull Gang? smh come on about time u dudes quit the bitchin and got back to makin that dipset anthem music

If it’s gonna be a full fledged Dipset reunion, they need to concentrate on beats, too. Holla at Heatmakerz again. Get Hell Rell back on board. If another album came out by them, I probably wouldn’t care, though. Only an album on the level of the first Diplomatic Immunity would move me.

Here’s what’s really going on. Jimmy and Juelz see Cam is about to make Vado a star. What’s that gonna look like? You publicly diss the man who put you on, he’s like fine I’ll go back to the hood get someone else with talent and make a star out of him. After all that nonsense you’re talking in public and siding with the enemy, your career is on life support. Meanwhile, this new guy from the hood has a crazy buzz in the streets and is about to blow and nobody will remember you. So you gotta slow that down by having a reunion. Simple math.
BUT, at the end of the day:
Vado>>>>>Jimmy
Vado>>>>>>>Juelz
And I’m pretty sure Vado has more Rugby than Juelz

JUELZ blames Cam for getting him for money….. But Jimmy was also hands on the business, he wasn’t just a sidekick or hype man… Shit it Jimmy was tHE main guy who gave dipset all that street credit they had… It was Jimmies talk about whoever, don’t care about you or your group “attitude” that gave them crazy respect.. Nobody was talkin nuthin when they was on top… Shit everybody was following them even cash money…… Jimmy knew Cam was shortchanging…..So jimmy had to know cause JIMMY NOT ONLY WAS THE MUSCLE HE WAS ALSO PART OF THAT MONEY MAKING BUSINESS HE WASN’T JUST A HITMAN HE WAS ALSO A “BOARD MEMBER”..
