Jorja Smith kicked off the new year with the release of her new single “Let Me Down” last week. The track, which features Stormzy, now comes to life with an official music video. In the dramatic clip, Jorja is on a mission with her eyes focused on a male ballet dancer. After seducing the dancer and a passionate sexual encounter, things soon turn deadly.

The version that you’ve got now that’s the demo version because I hate re-recording,” Smith told Beats 1’s Julie Adenuga about the record. “[Stormzy] hit me up after ‘Blue Lights’ and then I was in the studio with Ed and he came through to the session, but I had already wrote the beginning of it and then we just left verse two. Stormzy was so late. But it was cool because his verse made up for it and he is sick, it just made sense and it worked.”
