Director Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave historical dramatic film is set to hit theatres nationwide on November 1. The official soundtrack, releasing via Colombia Records, is lead by Grammy Award-winning singer John Legend. The R&B star goes back to his roots of gospel on the empowering “Roll Jordan Roll,” a song themed from Negro Spiritual.

Along with Legend, the soundtrack will also feature contributions from Alicia Keys, Hans Zimmer, Gary Clark Jr., Alabama Shakes, Cody Chestnutt, Chris Cornell, and more. Available for pre-order at Amazon, the soundtrack hits stores on November 11.
