While he played a crucial role in the rise of A$AP Mob, A$AP Yams had expanded his circle in recent years to help the careers of New Jersey rapper Da$H and Long Beach natives A$ton Matthews and Joey Fatts, in particular. It only seems right then that Joey pays respects to Yams, who sadly passed away over the weekend, by releasing this short yet heartfelt tribute titled “Stevie World.”

“I would do anything just to joke with you again,” Joey wrote on Instagram on the day of Yams’ passing. “I don’t know how imma do this without you. Rest in paradise. My girlfriend brothers cousins is crying. You meant everything to me. They all know the world of hurt I’m going through. I love you brother. Rest in paradise.”

On the brightside, Joey Fatts’ Ill Street Blues EP drops on February 17.
