The young Joey Bada$$ continues to attract waves of new hip hop listeners.  After performing at NYC’s SOBs last night, Pitchfork.tv +1 caught up with the rapper before he took stage in front of a slightly different crowd at Pitchfork’s “Villain” CMJ show. In their brief exchange, the 17-year-old talked about garnering respect from New Yorkers, upcoming music ventures, and hints at a “special secret producer” on his future Green Label Sound single.
