I’m certain I watch vlogs of Joey for shits and giggles. He is entertaining. His music, not so much….unless it’s hard beats and not that Technotronic pump up the jam crap that he’s been aiming at lately.
MESSAGE TO JOEY: SUN DULAH, LISTEN, You are an underground artist with one mainstream hit…even Talib got one of those, hell The Roots had at least 2 of them. You have to accept what type of artist you are, the masses are just way too overly saturated with wack ish that good is actually sounds like trash to them. Hence, don’t worry about them; do shows IN JAPAN AND EUROPE WHERE THEY RECOGNIZE REAL. Come back to the states in live big like Backstreet Boys did before they popped in the U.S.

dudes need to take a page out of Kanye’s book and stop trying to duplicate what’s already out there…this was a waste of time fighting to make your record sound like the conventional rap song…and funny enough at the end of the day no one is focussing on trying to make good music…all these underground rappers still trying to spit a hot 16 instead of making timless music…
not to stray too far but this is why people still listen to tupac because his music sounds like it just came out yesterday… (timeless)

To critic:….If you understood good music and hiphop, you wouldn’t be making such frivolous comments. Joe Budden is a very underrated artist, who have just not received his just-due. Hopefully, or eventually others will realize good music when they hear it and stop embracing alot of the garbage that makes it to the commercial stage.

I swear, cats have nothing better to do than hate. I thought it was a cool clip, showing a couple of artists who take their craft seriously. In the day & age of the hustler/rapper, the cat that admittedly raps just for the check, it’s nice to know that there are still cats who love Hip-Hop & care about what their doing & how it’s percieved by the people. I’m surprised cats like Mustafa enjoyed the song at all, seeing as how Budden & Joell don’t actually have albums out & aren’t getting played on the radio (as if that has any relevance to how dope the music is). Hate is truly the new love, but that’s a trend I’d like to see stay in ‘08.

Great stuff. Slaughter House has the potential to put out some truly classic music. Its like the whos-who of the best of the underground scene.
