Joe Budden blasts off the second release from his upcoming A Loose Quarter mixtape. For the heart-touching “Momma Said,” Joey enlists producer Beewirks (“Hello Expectations,” “Short Summer”) for the reflective somber record. Joe’s free project arrives November 23, and from the way this track fades out on the topic of ex-girlfriend Tahiry Jose, we’ll probably get the continuation sometime soon.

Smh…exactly, I may not swarm the comments, no longer have twitter/Instagram, but I’m a huge Minyah Oh aka Inffy (to me) fan lol…never a diss, just a compliment In the best possible way…I credit not only her journalistic leadership in how Inffy covers our culture of hip-hop, but her value and unbiased outlook on music in general…not to mention, the quality of reviews in others aspects such as style, movies, shows, etc…never a diss, just don’t think Info gets the credit for her stature as a woman in this world of ours…she’s hot, sexy, smart, n respectful. On another note, you know the world is changing if the fact that I got misunderstood as dissin Info, but the mere fact that I mentioned Budden as my top 5 goes completely unnoticed lmao…I think Joey is getting Hollywood on us, much less haters as before. Ha!

Yeah, me being from Newark, n having several acquaintances he actually knows personally, I’ve been saying this forever, and obviously cuz of a matter of opinion, everything is debatable…regardless of all that, I’m just a fan of Joey’s music, that’s what makes him great, the fact that he may not have 1mil+ fans screaming, but he has 100k+ people listening n supporting his craft, at the same time, slowly rearranging how we view the levels of succes…

Damn I am one of the biggest Joey fans, I was fucking with him since the 1st mood music, there was a point i would only listen to joey. nothing else & tried to put everbody on.I remember going to his sob shows when it was less the 40 ppl in the crowd no chicks at all. Now look he’s everybody’s top 5 fav rapper. Ever girls loves him . I’m glad but at the same time I’m upset , his music changed and just the quality & interaction with the fans.
It’s all good man. Proud of his success . Just miss mouse budden

I once was granted the opportunity of asking Joey n voicing that these “new” fans will fuck it all up for us old Budden fans, yet, these “new” fans are exactly what we’ve always wanted him to gain, cuz one day, he’ll get the exposure his fans have fought for, yet more importantly, Joe Budden himself will accept what he feels is best for him, his family, and what benefits Joe Budden. In all honesty, the music in itself has gotten mch better n if his “new” fans allow him to create te masterpieces we know he’s capable of making, so be it, lets get it.
