After Brooklyn’s Joey Bada$$ did some damage on the airwaves, it was time for New Jersey to make a mark. Joe Budden stopped by The Funkmaster Flex Show on Tuesday night for an interview. Once that was done, Joey couldn’t leave without making a mark over The Clipse’s “Grindin” instrumental. In related news, his new No Love Lost album is projected to debut No. 15 on the album charts tomorrow selling 29, 140 copies opening week.

Damn I bet Joey Cupcakes watched the Drake FMF “Freestyle” and was like, “Oh shit that’s hot. That’s what I’m gonna do on his show!” SMH.

c’mon man, these iphone/android/blackberry “freestyles” are a FAIL on hip hop and the culture !!
why are industry heavyweights co-signing this trend ???
i’m not a rapper, but i can write rhymes in my phone and spit them. nothin’ personal at joe either bc it started with drake and now i see it all the time. it really is more SAD than anything. the culture is suffering.
