Jim Jones has come a long way: “Perfect Day” video shows heart

Jim Jones and the reunited Dipset performed last night in my hometown, Chicago….and today, MTV premiered his “Perfect Day” video. To think of the Jomo I’ve known over the years turning into the well-rounded business and family man that we see today…everyone in the circle is proud and not a little bit surprised. The guy who bullied a comedian on the morning show I was on, who called me after scrapping in the Louis Vuitton store with an R&B singer….now has a video where he shows his appreciation for our military, and where he even performs the hook of the song in sign language?!?! *passes out*
Whether the song is too soft for the dipset-devotees, I appreciate Jimmy’s desire to expand. He was always that way…even back when he was a goonie goo goo ; )
Thanks to Tuma for the link!
Updated: Jimmy is interviewed by football player Darrell Reid on the video set?
