When it comes to young talent in hip-hop and R&B, Jermaine Dupri definitely knows a thing or two about what it takes to survive in the music industry. After helping shape the careers of child acts like Bow Wow and -Kriss Kross, JD has the knowledge and experience to dish advice to any young and in-the-spotlight artist. While talking to Miss Info at BET Awards Radio Room, the music mogul gave a very interesting take on Chris Brown’s latest “comeback.”

“He’s a star, though. I told people when he came out of jail, he’s going to be Tupac. He’s an R&B singer and a singer’s music is supposed to go farther than rap. And, it stretches over different boundaries. To me, he’s going to be more famous than Tupac. I mean, he’s a star, and I can’t front on it.”
