Early this morning, R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan hit her Twitter account to announce that she was taking a break from music, citing reasons such as losing the fun for the profession she once enjoyed and finding her self as reasons for quitting. Shortly after she deleted the tweets which the people over at StraightFromTheA captured, meanwhile earlier this evening the Salaam Remi produced “I’m Not A Robot” released to the public explaining her current mindstate. You can read her statements below:

“i’m making an official announcement that i am taking a break from music. i’m trying to figure out who i am… w/out a mike, paper or pen,” tweeted the 23-year-old. “i promised myself that when it wasn’t fun anymore i wouldn’t do it. and here i am. i’m not saying i wont ever sing again in my life becuz i dont believe that. but in this moment… rt now… i got some things to figure out.”
