Earlier this year David Letterman launched his Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. Former U.S. president Barack Obama, George Clooney and Malala Yousafzai served as the first three guests on Letterman’s new show. Next up is JAY-Z, who appears on the upcoming fourth episode set to debut on April 7. Before it airs this Friday, a preview of their conversation has been released online. In the clip, the Roc Nation mogul discusses the greatness of peers, Snoop Dogg and Eminem.

You can have a great voice and you can just almost say anything,” Jay says. “I think Snoop Dogg has a great voice. Like, he can say, ‘One, two, three, and to the four,’ and it’s like, ‘Oh my god.’ It just sounds good, right? It just sounds really good.” The Brooklyn MC would later praise Slim Shady. “Or you can be someone like Eminem and just have amazing cadence,” he says, speaking of his “Renegade” collaborator. “It’s percussion inside the music.”
