Jay Z closed out his show at Staples Center, Los Angeles with class last night. With the final song of the night, Hov dedicated a performance of “Young Forever” to the late Nelson Mandela, who sadly passed away last week. “We want to dedicate this song to Nelson Mandela… A great man… Spent 27 years in prison, came out to be President… All dreams are possible… So anybody out there that got a dream, y’all chase that motherf-cker down as hard as you can… Let that great man stand as an example of what you can do,” Jay told the crowd as a portrait of Mandela filled the giant screen behind him (via HHH).

More Nelson Mandela tributes after the jump: Alicia Keys and John Legend perform a cover of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” in Australia, and Wyclef Jean performs an acoustic number…
