Posted by Mr.North under concerts[15] Comments
Rumors have swirled and the announcement (sort of) is finally here. Two of music’s biggest stars in Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake will embark on a 12-date stadium tour, “Legends of the Summer.” Taking place in outdoor venues, notable stops on the North American trek includes New York City’s Yankee Stadium, Toronto’s Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome), Miami’s Sun Life Stadium and Boston’s Fenway Park.
Dates have yet to be announced, but according to clues revealed on Jay-Z’s Life+Times website, the locations look to be confirmed. Expect a second announcement with ticket details and dates to come soon. The “Suit & Tie” collaborators have already performed at this year’s Grammy Awards, and Super Bowl weekend in support of Timberlake’s forthcoming The 20/20 Experience album (March 19). Earlier this week, it was confirmed the duo will headline London’s Wireless Festival in July.
UPDATE: Confirmation is finally here! Check out exactly where and when JT and Jay-Z will be performing below. Tickets for all the shows (excluding the Yankee Stadium stop on July 19) go on sale Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. local time.

The problem is that you’re actually right…compared to the stadiums he’s mentioning, the Barclays Center is too little.
I’m surprised some big stadiums in the South aren’t on the list(Superdome, Cowboys Stadium, etc)

That’s how jay has remain relevant for so long. He stay working with whoever is hottest at the moment. And since he’s in my opinion the best rapper ever, most of these dudes are honored to work with him. Justin isn’t gaining much from jay-z because he has the urban market already.

Jay-Z is brilliant. His business sense is always on point. Aligning himself with one of the biggest popstars out is a guaranteed way to make major cheese. Hov must have a four-leaf clover in the stash somewhere because he stays winning.

What’s so brilliant…align yourself with people smarter than you, benefit, and then proclaim how you’re the greatest? he and bouncy are perfect for each other–biters and pretenders
