After giving fans a preview during the Yahoo! Wireless Festival in London last weekend, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake officially kicked their “Legends of the Summer” tour. The co-headlining North American trek began at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday night.

The two music heavyweights opened their show with their new collaboration “Holy Grail” off Jay-Z’s Magna Carta…Holy Grail album. Both artists took turns with solo sets as Justin went through hits like “Like I Love You,” “Cry Me a River,” and “Sexy Back.” Jay followed with his own popular cuts “Izzo,” “P.S.A,” and “On to the Next One.”

J.T. and Jay joined together again with dapper outfits, closing the evening to “Suit & Tie” as the rapper-mogul popped champagne and toasted to the night. Hometown favorite Drake was in attendance, posting a video on Instagram from his suite overlooking the 35,000 in attendance as he danced to “Big Pimpin.” The arena tour pulls into New York City’s Yankee Stadium for two shows, starting Friday.
