well this is only right. Props to Shaheem for the timely clip. And I was joking with Angie on twitter that maybe Lil Mama can play the kissing bandit without the hooters.

I have seen stans but you have to be #1. Dude the Yankees and their logo have been famous forever here and overseas! So maybe bc you are just a follower who believes everything word of mouth then that’s you. Son white people been rocking the Yankee hat, the Yankee hat has been cool since there first chip. So wipe of the jay z baby gravy off your lip and realize the Yankee hat has been cool way before jigga was even born. See Cam at one time made pink cool that’s undisputed.

WOW really? a stan? white people have been rocking it for a very long time…but in black culture baseball is on a decline, most black people under the age of 30 don’t really care about the sport. I never said he put the whole world on to the damn hat, but u cant front on the increase of the Yankee fitted hat in hip hop culture. Y do u think that is? I dont want to turn this into a black or white thing but u think people go out and get that hat cause Jeter or Pettite have it on??…..And for the record I dont own the hat cause my dislike for the Yankees wont allow me wear that hat for fashion reasons!

Very fitting couldn’t think of another song to usher in the New York Yankees into the 09 world series. I’m a season ticket holder and went to the ALCS and the ALDS home games and they’ve been playing the song non stop in the stadium anyways, I think it’s Derek Jeters entrance music. So good look Hov and good look Steinbrenner’s for giving Hov the nod. LETS GO YANKEES! and LETS GO HOV! we rollin with the winners this year.

Let me paint a picture. Bottom of the ninth, bases loaded, full count, tie game. The crowd is electric, the tension thick enough to cut. A rod at bat. He takes a few pratice swings off the plate. Adjusts grip on his gloves. He steps into the square…The look of concentration is intense. Philly’s pitcher confirms his choice of pitch with his catcher. This is it…
Ball is released at 88 miles an hour comming down the pike. Action slows, the crowd noise drops out, A rod sees nothing but the ball. Electricity from the brain travels through the nerves causing muscle contraction. The bat connects with ball like a sledge hammer. A
rod knows, the pitcher knows, the bull pen
knows, and the fans know. The ball confirms
rules of physics… Homerun. Yanks win. As A
rod makes his victory lap around the bases he
feels a presence behind him. Who is that?
The announcers are baffled. Security Is
caught off guard. As A rod meets his team at
home plate he turns to see this mystery
player. Lil Mama stares A rod down as if
she’s going to hit him…Behind every big success is a lil mama.

Hov stay winning!Hate it or love it.
Jay-z too smart to be bait for 50’s promo.Even if they did,he done lapped the lane already.
With regards to ‘Ether’ it didn’t exactly achieve the desired results.Today,Jay has a stellar career compared to Nas.True,Nas might have won the battle but Jay won the war.Remember Hov bagged Nas’s baby-mother and also became his boss at Def Jam.Add ‘Takeover’ to that,Jiggaman= icecold.

Ether wasn’t designed to kill Jay’s career, it was designed to let Jay know that NaS is going nowhere and NaS can give it back just as much as Jay can send it. NaS and Jay are 2 totally different artists. NaS have never been the type to chase fame cause whenever he doesn’t have an album to promote, he stays out of the limelight. These 2 are the elder lyrical statesman of hip hop and each of them looks at the other as their equal or peer. And since when did scooping up baby mamas become a win situation? NaS won the battle but no one won the war because really after the battle, Super Ugly was executed kinda sloppy. So sloppy that Jay’s moms made him go on the air and apologize about the record and the Blueprint record was Jay at his most uncool. NaS albums since Stillmatic have been lukewarm to aiight at best, but again NaS never chases the spotlight so really can’t compare the 2.

WAT WAR ARE U TALKING ABOUT ??? BOTTOM LINE THE BATTLE WAS TO SEE WHO IS A BETTER LYRICIST !!! JUS BECAUSE JAYZ HAVE MORE $$$$$ THAN NAS DOESNT TAKE AWAY THE FACT THAT NAS IS A BETTER LYRICIST !!! JAY CAN HAVE 100 TRILLION DOLLARS AND NAS HAVE 1 MILLON.. IT DOESNT MAKE JAY BETTER .. THE WHOLE IDEA OF A BATTLE IS TO SEE WHO IS LYRICALLY THE BEST.. THATS WAT JAY vs NAS WAS ABOUT.. MONEY CANT BUY TALENT !! NAS IS LESS RICHER THAN JAYZ, AND JAY IS LESS TALENTED THAN NAS !!!… AND JAYZ IS SCARED OF 50CENT DAT REAL TALK THEY BOTH ARE DA RICHEST RAPPERS RIGHT NOW.. Y HES NOT PROVING HES SUPERIOR… TRUST ME ITS A FEAR FACTOR !!!

opinion and excuses are one thing, proof of the pudding is in the eating.
your comment is slightly off topic.I did not mention the issue of money. As to why you brought it up,heaven knows?I said Jay-z has a stellar career as compared to Nas.
To clarify my point. For example you can be the most skillful player in the NBA,as long as you don’t win the rings, your excellence has no real proof.
Let’s look at the highest accolades of critical acclaim in music.Correct me if i’m wrong, Jay-z has won more compared to Nas.The notion that to ‘Ether’ somebody is the epitome of a diss record is a misconception when the aftermath factored.
The embodiment of a diss record is,’The Bridge is over’ by KRS-One.The record achieved what is meant to be achieved by a diss record. The Superior MC in this case KRS,went on to solidify his status in the game, while the inferior MC Shan career took a nosedive. It’s the opposite between Nas and Jay-z,in fact Ether made Jay stronger as things stand.
The relevance of Nas’s baby-mother in the feud is obvious,She was part and parcel of the diss record. And that was the most truthful hard-hitting part of the ‘Takeover’.Jay apologizing for that part is credit to himself;the decency to acknowledged he went in too far.

I saw Jay-Z live last night at UMass. His live performances are incredible. He gives you every dollar back with his performance.

This is only right? June 3, 2008, I released the album entitled, The Empire State of Mind, recorded/mixed/mastered at The Cutting Room. Jay’s boy Ty Ty was there in another room for a lot of the process, and there were many many copies of the album lying around once it was pressed up. This album was the story of my life, and suddenly the biggest artist in the game happens to release a song which is the exact name of my album. It is unfortunate that I have atleast tried to bring this to the attention of multiple news outlets and it continues to fall on deaf ears. http://www.sylermusic.com
Check it out, not only is this the 100% honest truth, but the music is worth the listen. I guess people don’t want rocks to be thrown at the throne?

Its sucks becuz 50 is putting out alot and the marketing dolla is being stretched. what happens if he can’t sell more than 500,000 first week. as for his standards he failed. But for us that’s good numbers. as for his status in interscope it will dimish. Cause so far Lil Wayne is the number 1 rap record pusher.

Yupp. But that 50 neyo joint is starting to heat up. The thing is that 50 acts like a gangsta but is putting out commercial music. So It throws people off… The only way he can get the media attention he needs would be if Jay-Z comes knocking which I doubt. Hov Ain’t sharing the bright lights with nobody. Especially if you continuously are throwing shots…

only the strong survive. The majority of all these rappers are weak. They tend to lean on someone’s shoulders or attack the one who is running sh*t.
