Jay-Z and Kanye West Connect with New Jersey on Watch The Throne Tour

(The Throne performing “Otis”)
Last night, the good folks at Roc Nation blessed us with tickets to go check out the first WTT tour date in New Jersey. At the Izod center, Jay-Z and Kanye West put on a non-stop rap show that went on for over 2 hours. Honestly, I had a frckin’ blast just fanning out and rapping along with The Throne. This industry gets to be a bit much sometimes with the politics and fake a$$ people, but moments like this make it all worthwhile. From my lower level seat, I witnessed hip-hop greatness in a really pure form. Hov and Yeezy kept the stage setup pretty minimal as you probably have seen and made sure it was all about the music. To finish the eveningoff, they killed it with a triple encore of “N—as In Paris.” I was even able to snag some pretty decent video clips for you guys.
Check out footage of Kanye’s NJ version of his “Runaway” freestyle (Hi Amber) and “New Day” after the jump…

Hands down, it was the best show EVER! I don’t think anyone was expecting the repeat of “N***as In Paris” three times ! The energy in the building was crazy. Now I fully understand the no importance of any guest appearances.
Great job Throne !
P.S.: what did you think of their “Made In America” performance Mikey?

WTT is a very great show because both artists have a very extensive catalog of hits. A must see. I also noticed they didn’t even use an opening or fill in acts. Check out the new http://www.allaboutbeats.com website to hear the hottest new Hip Hop\R&B Instrumentals.

somehow they found a way to make New Day even more terribly self-indulgent.

Best concert i’ve been too in a very long time! These two KILLED it just off pure talent. No guests, no opening acts, just hits! They definitely are living legends.

I knew … I knew…. The Throne are Kings Of Subliminals!… They made the perfect diss song…Its num 1 at the momment and now they are doing triple Encores of it (my example of being sublime..lol) “Niggas In Paris” I thought i heard that phrase somewhere I think Beans got his response from the Angry Throne… Please peep the link Below for Evidence

Haha, great connection! That sound clip of Beans and the hook on “Niggas in Paris” sound too much alike for it to be coincidence…. I agree, it definitely was the ultimate subliminal diss record. “That shit Krazy”
