In support of Marvel’s forthcoming Black Panther film, Kendrick Lamar and TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith serve as executive producers for the movie’s accompanying soundtrack. Following the single “All the Stars” by Kung Fu Kenny and SZA, the second song off the project is now out. On “King’s Dead,” Lamar returns, joined by TDE labelmate Jay Rock, Future and James Blake over the production of Mike WiLL Made-It and Teddy Walton. Available in select international markets, “King’s Dead” will be out on iTunes in North America at midnight when you pre-order the soundtrack. Black Panther: The Album drops on Feb. 9, with the film hitting theatres a week later on Feb. 16.

UPDATE: Jay Rock and TDE reveal in a press release that “King’s Dead” also serves as the first single off Rock’s upcoming new solo album due later this year. Listen below.
