I teach multimedia art an high school in Brooklyn and I introduced Monae’s music and one of her videos to one of my classes last week. My students were learning about race and class and how artists respond to issues facing their communities. They were blown away by her!

I’m a Monae stan for real! What she does and how she’s doing it is so different. I’ve been looking fwd to Suites 2 +3 too.

Did you see her on StarGate Universe last weekend? She performed two songs from the Metropolis cd. You can see it on Ch131.com. The episode is called Earth.

awww man! looking forward to Metropolis Suite 2 & 3 as well as The Ark Android.
