It’s unlikely TDE will ever manage to put out six projects in one calendar year, as Anthony Tiffith once dreamed, but they’ve still managed to dominate the last half decade thanks to a steady stream of releases from their all-star roster. Like Steph Curry for the Warriors, Kendrick Lamar put up serious numbers on the board for TDE last year (let’s not forget Jay Rock, whose junkyard dog loyalty automatically makes him Draymond Green). And now the steely second unit of ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, SZA and Isaiah Rashad are ready to step in and steer the team to another W in 2016.

According to a recent Top Dawg tweet, it looks like Isaiah’s Cilvia Demo follow up is first in the rotation. After sharing the smooth-as-hell, anti-radio jam “Nelly,” the Tennessee recruit returns with his latest single “Smile,” which finds him celebrating his homie’s homecoming over a sample of Wanderlea’s “Lindo.”

Humble, hard working and brimming with raw talent; Isaiah Rashad is the Harrison Barnes of TDE.

UPDATE: “Smile” is now available for purchase on iTunes.
