Isaiah Rashad has already given us a double dose of his sophomore project with “Smile” and “Free Lunch,” but here’s some leftover material that he didn’t want to go to waste. “i mean” features breezy production from Black Metaphor (who also produced Cilvia Demo‘s “R.I.P. Kevin Miller”) and almost Kid Cudi-like catharsis from Zaywop. “I need the white walls, white walls/Where it ain’t that hard to be myself/Thank God, thank God, I’m here, I’m home,” he croons to brings the track to a close. Let’s hope for the same level of vulnerability on Isaiah’s upcoming album, which drops September 2.
