My business worked directly with Budden on Def Jam a few years ago and he was a do anything for rap guy. And I do literally mean anything ask Clue man Skane and fellow staffers at Def Jam. I just see this as a reinvention of a buster. When Keith Murray wanted to sock him out on their promo tour together he was very,very scared and not the harbinger of realness we see today. He is indicative of the early 2k dick rider mixtape click rapper who was given a chance to release product but came up short besides pump me up. Sorry for the rant but I am so tired of the rampant lies!

What he said about Vlad Tv or Worldstar is valid in that they promote bullsh*t. But he has no higher moral ground here. I followed the whole nonsense and Joe started it – with “ignorance” and now he wants to distance himself from it. Vlad made a great point in the interview when he reminded Joe that is was him who said he’s take Joe Budden TV to Ransom’s home.
Let’s be real
Round 1 – Joe disses ransom from out of nowhere (yes they had a previous “beef” on was but that had been quiet for a while)
Round 2 – Ransom obviously responds
Round 3 – Joe then gets into something with Ransom and then Joe starts videoing and talking “ignorance” on the internet AND threatens Ransom and offers to video it and show other video.
Round 4 – Ransom reacts and actually does what Joe threatens to do.
Round 5,6,7… Joe tries to convince the world it was nothing to do with him and everyone else is “ignorant”

This is just a guy projecting. He Started the whole thing and whether he likes it or not a part of him is just as “ignorant” as everyone else. What he should do is just apologies and accept HIS part in CREATING the whole mess.

Ambulance chasers, vultures and “journalists” will always exist – perhaps Joe should have looked at that definition before he tried to be one himself with that Appleby’s skit!

PS – I think they can both spit but I’m rapidly hoping they’d both fade away by the day!

Vlad, directing American Gangster doesn’t make you a journalist. Maybe it makes you a director or a videographer, but not a journalist. Alot of what we see on MSNBC, CNN and pretty much all of Fox isnt journalism either. Its sensationalism and gossip. When you watch the news and they are telling you what Obama’s daughters order for lunch at school, think to yourself, what could have been reported in that slot. A whole lot.

Lastly there is an uncomfortable racial element to it when these are mainly white men exploiting this black ignorance for their profits. In the end, it is mainly black and latino kids who see this shit, and are influenced by it. Our communities suffer as a result of this. Flex had to slow up in this when the lox and Jay was going through it, because dudes were starting to hold him accountable for playing all of those diss tracks (remember that Styles P joint over the Ray J beat WHOOO!!!!!) and having dudes come up on the radio and talk crazy.

Bottom line is everyone has to be held accountable for their actions. .
