The 9-year old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith has a new record deal with RocNation, she’s done interviews with Jay-Z by her side, her song “Whip My Hair” was playing at every VMA party out in LA last week…and now she’s showing off her own logo and “gritty New York street scene” photo shoot in this teaser video.
In some of these photos she’s already mastered the teen-queen dreamy eye. Hmm. I like the other photos that showcase her as just a really cute freespirited young girl : )
When I was 9, I only played piano. lol.

Lets be clear the fact that shes coordinated and talented at this age is no surprise her father is Will Smith and her mother is Jada like really those are two ambitious mofo’s and dont be fooled Will is a north Philly dude that loves hip hop and Jada is 2Pac’s first girlfriend slash road dog so only god knows what inside those people beyond what you see as their crafted image… So there is no question about it these kids are ambitious and driven because its just in them…

Yeah, I’d have “star-potential” too if my parents were one the tightest power couple in hollywood.. Btw JayZ and the Pinkett-Smiths’ (ha) r like BFF. They already have produced together (check broadway musical FELA) it was nothing to put Willow in RocNation. Btw I heard Jay phone in on Willows first interview w rran Seacrest, and said he had no idea that it was not only a little girl, but will and jadas little girl. GTFOH W those lies homie. A privileged little girl w even more privelages… I want someone to give back to those who really need it!

this. the generation of black millionaires that hip-hop produced is doing the opposite of what was expected, giving back to the hood, instead are starting the cycle of feeding money back into itself..
and also it doesnt feel good to see a 9 year old doing all this. somehow it just doesn’t feel okay

I actually agree. She is going to be be successful beacuse there is a formula & team that people love. HOWEVER, so much real raw talent, will still go unrecognized.
