There’s always a special place in our hearts for Big Pun. It’s been 12 years this day since the legendary emcee passed away, but his legacy will forever be cherished. Hot 97′s DJ Mister Cee paid homage to the Big Punisher on Hot 97′s “Throwback at Noon” today by putting together a 60-minute tribute mix. Take a listen below.

Not quite sure why any hip hop fan is still supporting Mister Cee…. Dude was caught with [edit]! I don’t care what nobody has to say about his history, we can’t support that.
I personally cannot even listen to this dude’s mix of anything, because I would be supporting what he is about and I am sorry but that shit was super gay! Fuck dat…

you’re one of those backwards types that still believes sexual orientation/choice has anything to do with your ability to be a DJ, a hip hop fan, a hip hop artist, or anything related? You, Michelle Bachman and Pat Robertson, lol! Honestly, I think you have every right to believe that though. I just hope you know that way of thinking is on the way to becoming extinct.

I am sorry Info but I don’t think your sexual orientation has anything to do with how well you can do your job whatever that is, be it dj-ing, being an artist or a mailman for that matter.
I do believe in preservation of culture though.. Hip Hop is a culture and a way of life for many. I obviously don’t support homosexuality and on the surface neither does Hip Hop as a culture. Homosexuality is creeping in right before our eyes, yes but that doesn’t mean that my way of thinking is becoming extinct and it also doesn’t make me wrong for standing up for what I believe in.
Because the mass media is fighting for the rights of homosexuals and pushing their agenda doesn’t mean that everybody must follow suit. What I expressed represents a perspective, a perspective that is not just my own. Its funny that when you go against the grain or what’s “seemingly” common that you get painted as being ridiculous.
I however don’t find it ridiculous that anybody could be disgusted by Mister Cee’s actions and possibly want to hault their support of the legendary DJ. I was absolutely disgusted and look down on it as I do rape, child molestation or incest, he was caught with his genitals in another man’s mouth, how that could sound remotely ok is beyond me.
I don’t believe everybody needs to have the same sexual orientation or standards that I hold but its a matter of logic to me, homosexuality as a sexual orientation cannot continue life naturally and further the human race, it neeeds hetrosexual people to survive, but hetrosexuality can stand on its two feet and continue life as intended. One has to be wrong or deemed unnatural and that’s just common sense.
Hip Hop as a culture isn’t growing when they seem like they are becoming more open to homosexuality, as a culture it is actually bending and conforming to an agenda pushed upon them and there is nothing Hip Hop about that, Hip Hop was once revolutionary and stood for something. Now it seems like as long as there is a check big enough, Hip Hop will turn its head and bite its tongue.

homie, wtf are you on about?
please don’t speak for Hip Hop. Your point is baseless. Sexual orientation has NOTHING to do with this music sh*t.
and to equate homosexuality to incest, rape, etc, shows how small-minded you are.
As Info pointed out, thoughts like yours are becoming extinct. which is good.
