The most noticeable omission from this year’s ‘Hottest MCs’ nomination list by MTV, many would say is J. Cole. While we’re still stumped, Jermaine spoke with MTV over the weekend and gave his personal reaction. Stay tuned as the #10 artist will be announced later today.

“Yeah I saw the list. I don’t know it’s like, a list is a list. Whether I’m on it or not. Even if I was on it. If I was on that list they would find another person to be up in arms about.”

Drake, Fat Joe, Spike Lee, and Tyga give their choices after the jump…..

Drake went a bit left field with his choice, mainly naming Willie The Kid, known for his previous affiliation with DJ Drama as his choice.

Fat Joe breaks down his final three of Drake, Kanye West, and Lil’ Wayne.

Spike Lee’s final choice are Jay-Z and Kanye West, but makes a case for Drake, Wiz Khalifa, and Curren$y.

Tyga’s #1 choice would be J. Cole, with Wale, Big Sean, and Meek Mill also making his list.
