For ESPN’s Ouside The Line feature, reporter Colleen Dominguez examines the relationship between Shaquille O’Neal & Biggie Smalls. The four-time NBA champion and future hall of famer speaks on how the two first met, their classic 1996 collab “You Can’t Stop The Reign” and the evening B.I.G. was murdered. Diddy & Lil’ Cease also make appearances during the piece as this Wednesday will mark the 14th anniversary of Biggie’s death.

Wow, after all these years I never heard Shaq’s angle on what happened that night? I wonder if things would have been different if Shaq would of been with Big?

Thats pretty insane!
Shaq with the lakers his first year was a god!! If anyone would have seen those two together they would have had second thoughts about firing on Shaq because they would have known they would be hunted down and arrested even if shaq wasnt hit!!

Man…..what couldve been. Side Note……i feel like I know Big’s story pretty well, especially since he’s my favorite rapper. But, WHEN DID LIL CEASE BECOME HIS COUSIN?! hahahahaha! did I miss that?
