Drake releases the artwork that’ll grace his sophomore album, Take Care coming October 24th. The highly anticipated album features the single “Headlines,” with the official video coming shortly as it’s already been shot in his hometown of Toronto. A Kiddush Cup, Shabbat Candle, gold orientated, thoughts?
Feels like it’s been so long. Is life moving so fast in this generation that when we desire something it begins to move in slow motion? Are we just used to getting what we want right away? Or do we require one another to feel right about all that is going on around us? Maybe our anticipation is justified by the fact that we genuinely cannot wait to share a moment again? Either way, your life and mine are scheduled to meet on October 24…I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
See you soon.
Drake
Take Care will be available in three versions: Standard Edition, Birthday Edition (Deluxe), and Take Care OG Ron C Edition (Chopped & Screwed)

that cover does seem statuette horror like lol he could have approached so many angles. the term “take care” is so well versed it can be translated to art.

He’s been hanging around rick ross and dj khaled too long. lol the mafia back ground drop with the velvet button up come on now lol Least be a little more creative, think out the box. He could have did a written letter on loos-leaf as a cover with the Take care, inscribed by his mom or a soldiers last letter from Afghanistan to his wife inscribed “take care”(something like that, shows more thought). something that shows his personality.
sorry the cover is horrible. I like where his music is headed though least hes touching on more than just fame and industry girls now.

And so what if he’s been hanging around khaled and Ross too much…and if it mafia influenced.. the way these guys YMCMB MMG taking over the game right now..might as well call them the Music Mobb anyway.. Everything they drop is crasy and they got the clubs on fire all over the place….Fuck the creativity my dude..you gonna see how creative Drake is when you listen to those 18 tracks…

I noticed you mentioned everything but the art work itself. Which makes finger painting look more individualistic than his cover. They are not mobbed up in any way shape or form. Do i like some of their work? yeah. you sound ignorant implying that creativity doesn’t matter.Floridians are obsessed with this mafia image like they cocaine cowboys I wont even touch on the new orealeanians that moved there.
And no EVERYTHING they drop is not hot. carter VI was a dud i don’t care what you say or what clubs play it. That Lil Wayne CD should have came with a little carton of milk for his kindergarten rhymes.
back to the post issue: the art work was terrible it look like he took a pic in the corner of a haunted house or old museum holding a chicken leg in a velvet shirt.as for his album we’ll see if he has anything to offer but “I’m famous and confused,(high note) more stress;more girls;driving this Lambo is such a hardship”

The Free Spirit jawn. The co-prod. Quincy Jones jawn, 8ball & MJG feature, and the 2 Stevie features are G for me. Will cop this. Sans the cover tho.

Nas seems to be way smarter than the people who are always trying to dictate his career. Why can’t Nas work with others besides DJ Premier? You people always have something to say about Nas but yet co-sign his peers (Eminem or Jay-z) working with other artists. Besides, it is Nas who has the 20 year LEGENDARY career with multiple platinum and gold albums. There is nothing that Nas needs to “smarten up” about besides telling you haters or hip hop purists to STFU! Nas doing songs with Lil Wayne or Drake will not stop him from being lyrically great. Nas’ Outro verse on the Carter IV, Nasty and Ghetto Dreams proves that Nas is still a lyrical beast in 2011.

Yeah that definitely looks like a golden drumstick from a distance (LOL) but when you look up close you can see that its the OVOXO signature Owl logo. Drake is on some Rick Ross shit now.
Whatever tho… this album is gonna be crazy. Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder are a part of this project. Drake is running 2011.

Day one buy for me and most likely I’ll heard the leak first but i will support and buy . Music from Itunes sounds more better in my iphone anyways. Drake doing it big and I would think Nicki would be on the album too but that cool he trying to do more as a solo artist . I been a fan before people started jumping on the bandwagon he came a long way and it shows .

He’s sad because he lost his magical Blackberry that gives him the ability to read freestyles, something that no man has ever had the power to do. He’s gonna replace it with an all-powerful ipad, which will grant him even better powers to write freestyles and read them on radio shows, and still declare that its all off the top! All hail technology!
