“Jay-z is like one of those British dudes with the big hats, that you just can’t get anything out of…”

I love 50, but this guy is hella funny! roffle @ magic beef dust.
I kinda feel bad for Beanie.
BTW, I don’t know why ppl thought 50 was going to do numbers this time when his whole album is as dark as it gets. I love it though. Great workout music.
GRODT was hardcore too, but it was witty. He made mainstream audiences laugh so I think that’s why they felt comfortable going out and buying the album.
One more thing though, all the ppl praying for 50’s downfall, clearly don’t know the man. His entire life has been a struggle to make it. I don’t think a poor selling album is going to make him run, hide, & cry.
Oh & Info, why are my comments always moderated?

This dude cracks me up! No matter what “side” you take or whether you think this “beef” is irrelevant or relevant, Ill is a funny dude.
Loved the Santa metaphor. Plays right into the JZ/Beanie scenario. Wonder if he noticed that.

I think beans is kinda stuck in the past. 5-10 years ago, shit was a little more aggressive so his shots at dude would’ve gotten a response, but if you look at the rap atmosphere today and the features on BP3, you can tell aggression aint whats poppin. Imma fan of beans music and i just prey he doesn’t record anymore tracks going at dude. Its kinda of pathetic.

Jay-Z could care less about anyone of his fans. Especially the streets. His demographic and target audience is no longer the young kids or 18-29. Honestly it’s more his age with the mid-thirty-year old and up. And numbers may not lie, but the source of those numbers do. I’m just a former fan who thought the Black Album was his last album.Well, it was his last good album. And his ego just makes me cringe. I would be perfectly content if he went to St. Tropez and never came back. Maybe then we could get a Memph Bleek album…..(Sidenote-how much must it suck to be on Young Money? Just saw their album will be sold alongside Wayne’s rock album. What kind of b.s. is that? No money will be seen by those kids and they can’t even hold an album down by themselves?!?) SMH.

i mostly agree with you but hov’s (and any other rap artists’) demographic is definitely still 18-29… i don’t think the majority of Blueprint 3 purchasers were 35-40, there were probably a lot, but idk about that being his target audience

kingdom come was 32-40 but that was to grown for the original audience but instead of growing with hope ya’ll think he suppose to still act like he in the PJ (talking to the real Reasonable doubt to BP3 fans )

Its amazing. You do 11 straight albums selling 400k or more first week. You for at least 7 years straight have a top single/album in hip hop. You are still being discussed in your late thirties, and there are still people who knock your credentials? LL COOL J is 41 years old, RAKIM is 41 years old, KRS ONE is 44 years old, and JAY is 3 years younger. ANY of those guys been relevant in the last 6-7 years on as large a scale as JAY? Rap is no longer a young man’s game. Anybody in rap under 25 years old better then any 3 of the following emcees: NAS (36 yo), JAY (39 yo), WAYNE (29 yo), KANYE, PUSHA T (guessing early 30s), LUPE (26 yo), JEEZY (32 yo)? Now ask the same question in 1996 re: the top emcees. Note to the youngins: the top emcees were all in their twenties back then.

Lol @ MASONIC connections? I think the blogger was joking or I hope so at least. Do we have to continue making up nonsense theories. Why hasnt JAY gotten other radio DJs who knocked him fired? Your overwhelmingly likely to be under 25 years old and/or a high school dropout if you believe that nonsense.

So Sha, why do YOU think Charlamagne got fired. It doesn’t have to be Masonic connections but we don’t know for sure if Jay is or isn’t a Mason. I believe Jay had a hand in that. I’m pretty sure Jay is friends with Alfred C. Liggins III the CEO of Radio One who owns the Beat in Philly. I wouldn’t be surprised if both financial heavyweights are apart of some “fraternity” together.

I really don’t think that a Jay vs 50 “beef” would serve hip hop well. Had this happened 6-7 yrs ago then maybe. But the fact id these are NY’s 2 top artists period. Jay is in a lane by himself and has been alienating people while his appeal has been shrinking. I don’t see either beating the other. And what if in the end Jay and 50 both leave the active music scene for better financial options. What would Ny and the Industry be left with? The powers of the South are in jail, Ny is still in flux….You’d have Kanye and Em as the 2 top dogs.

I didn’t like this video…this dude makes it sound like 50 some small time begging Jay for beef for publicity…50 and Jay been supposed to settle this but Jay kept retiring everytime 50 got hot…so now 50 using Beans to try to smoke him out…I think Jay gets too much credit, feels like everyone ready to suck his balls like get off it, the dude may be on top but by what means? He flaked on dudes that got him where he is and now showing he can do the same to hip hop but feeding everyone this pop shit…
50 and Jay have to settle this, if not it will be like Mayweather never fighthing Pacquaio…I am in 50 corner but even if he loses, this has to be settled…and no NUMBERS cant settle hip hop beefs…it’s not about numbers…
If this clash never happens, a lot of people will still see Jay as the god of hip hop because something about his nut sack once you suck it I guess you cant ever see things from another perspective but to me if this doesn’t happen, Jay will go down as the biggest coward in Hip Hop…he’s lost a big battle already and I think it got him shook
God I wish Hip Hop was more like Dancehall Reggae man, in Reggae culture there’s never an excuse for not answering someone at your level who calls you out…that right there will end your career…in Dancehall clashes are settled on stage by who gets the most forward or moves the crowd and the people judge, not numbers? not suburban children talking shit on blogs, not record labels, no award show sideway remarks…the crowd in the ghetto, the same motherfuckers that made you…in Dancehall, 50 would be tearing up Jay ass in Brooklyn and Jay would have to do the same in Queens…mano y mano…Rap is for wimps…no wonder its white Englishmen that seem to be really pushing it these days and a successful album has to be pop and feature every fucking artist under the sun…the hood is dead…

Damn, you spent a lot time on writing that bullshit, didn’t you? If Jay never battles 50, some people will still say he’s the god because 50 is wack.Lyrically, 50’s not in the top 30, so what the fudgecake or you talking about? As for you’re dumb “I wish Hip Hop was more like Dancehall Reggae”, please go back to the ignorant corner of the internet with that nonsense.Jamaica is a slum country because that same sort of backward way of thinking.F**k the ghetto, and the dumb ghetto mentally that breeds ignorant f**ks like yourself.

no typical is you calling someone you dont know, never met, never will meet names…it’s a cross between a cyber thug, a homo and a 4 year old…going back and forth with you actually makes me feel semi-gay so do your thing cyber-homothug find people’s opinions and then call them names you know you would never dare in person…
