Once the state has to become involved because a crime was committed, and laws were broken, the victim/plaintiff has no say in the matter anymore. It’s the state/people v. the criminal.
and if they can throw bernie madoff’s old ass in prison til he is r.i.p.
THEN WHY THE HELL CAN’T THEY GET THIS LIL RAPIST TO DO HIS TIME.
I tell you why he flead in the 1st place, cause prisoners DONT LIKE RAPIST! AND ROMAN WOULD HAVE BEEN GETTIN RAPED ON A DAILY BASIS, or prolly killed by now. cause prisoners do not like rapist, especially those who rape little girls. The prison guards would have thrown his little precious ass to the wolves.

This was a combination of Ether, Takeover, 2nd Round K.O., Break of Dawn, No Vaseline (no pun intended), 10% Dis. Someone should shoot this over to someover on those entertainment shows (Extra, Entertainment Tonight, Showbiz Tonight, Acess Hollywood, etc) to show some of these entertainers exactly who they are defending. I think those that signed these petitions don’t even know the case, just what they saw on TV. That pause in the middle of the vlog like he was finished and then he went back in on Roman was genius. Jay Smooth is underrated with these vlogs. I don’t think he gets the props that he deserves. There aren’t too many hip hop cats who can talk with that kind of intellect and wit and still keep it with a hip hop slant online or who I would want to see on camera. He needs a bigger outlet at this point. Especially when you consider that the subject matter really doesn’t have anything to do with hip hop. Something like what Hot 97 has with Lisa Evers with the Street Soldiers thing on Sundays but something like that during the week, I don’t know. Clearly, this vlog is one of his greatest vlogs and he has quite a few to choose from. Info, I put you in the same category as Jay Smooth as well. I need to hear the both of you guys speak more.
And real talk, I think we should see the names of all of these celebs that signed the petition and see if they can stand the heat of supporting Roman when the cameras are in their faces. I think the ones that support Roman are cut off from the real world so much that they only get their news from news programs and they don’t research anything unless it has something directly to do with a role.

I’m waiting to see the views on this. Cuz folk came CHARGING IN on their high horses to blast Shyne of a crime he’s fulfilled his sentence for, so I hope those same folk come down just as hard on this guy.
Info have you seen the list of people trying to protect this guy?
Including some major celebs.

I saw the Doc and I’ve heard Bill Mahr and Chris Rock speak on it, and I tend to agree with them. I question anyone who defends this dude. When did it become legal to give a chick some ludes and fuck her in the ass while she says no. I was kinda put off when I saw him in rush hour 3, that dudes creepy. No celebrity is gonna make me feel otherwise.

And the funny thing about him being in RH3 is that his character was the French lead detective and everytime he saw Chris & Jackie he would always give them a “thorough” body cavity search.

Yeah he’s the dude who gave the cavity search in the airport. I think Brett Radner is a fan. Personally if he would have just copped to it like I was young and wrong, but his consistent arrogance on the matter, makes me to believe that he still does that stuff, or it’s just his thing,and whats the big deal. (and thats creepy)

Woody Allen (no suprise), Pedro Almodovar, Wes Anderson (kinds suprised), Darren Aronofsky, Monica Bellucci, Gael Garcia Bernal, Adrien Brody (RP helped him cop his Oscar so no suprise but loses his Q-Borough pass on this one), Jonathan Demme, Harrison Ford (word?), Stephen Frears, Terry Gilliam, Taylor Hackford (I liked the “Ray” movie), Neil Jordan, John Landis, Michael Mann (kinda hurt by his name being here), Sam Mendes (wonder if Kate Winslet feels the same), Mike Nichols (holla at John Forte tell him to talk to his boy), Alexander Payne, Brett Ratner (wow), Salman Rushdie, Martin Scorsese (disappointed big time), Steven Soderbergh, Tilda Swinton, Kristin Scott Thomas, Emma Thompson, Diane von Furstenberg
Penelope Cruz was reported to have signed the petition but I didn’t see her name on it. Hope she doesn’t sign it cause her girl, Salma came out againgst Roman.
Now how come there isn’t a sentence Roman Polanski petition?

Yeah Cruz signed. So did Natalie Portman. All these big stars who I have so much respect for just down the drain. I read somewhere that Speilberg refused to sign it. If this had been the big homie Spike Lee, NONE of them would’ve signed because he’s not a part of the club. This just goes to show you that people protect their own. Hollywood protects Hollywood. Democrats protect Democrats. Republicans protect Republicans.

Here is what I’ve learned from Hollywood’s reaction to a couple of different recent events. It’s perfectly okay to drug and anally rape a 13-year-old girl then flee the country after pleading guilty to the crime. But if you grab a meaningless award handed out by a cable TV network from a 19-year-old girls hand then rant about how it should have gone to someone else………then you’ve crossed the line.

Disclaimer: I am in no way condoning Roman Polanski’s acts, just providing some insight as to why he has so much support from Hollywood.
Most of these people have worked with or known Roman. Going to the mattress (or petition in this case) for a homie is a natural thing, it’s instinctive to want to protect your friends, even if they’ve done wrong. It is also possible that this loyalty they have accounts for their obfuscation as it pertains to the facts of this case, emotions can cloud better judgment, we’ve all been responsible for that. So let’s keep our focus on the rapist responsible for that cowardly act so many years ago, and let the celebs rock. due to the nature of their profession it is built into them to seek attention, and this bullshit petition is just another camera to pose in front of… please don’t flame me
