Ice Cube’s long-awaited album Everythangs Corrupt finally has a release date — and we don’t have to wait long until it arrives. The West Coast OG announced today that his 10th solo album, which he’s been teasing since 2012, is dropping on December 7, a day, he promises, “that will live in infamy.”

While Cube has yet to reveal any further details about the album, he told XXL in 2014 that Everythangs Corrupt has “political undertones to it” and described it as “classic Ice Cube.” Don’t expect a bunch of big-name features or producers, either.

Everythangs Corrupt will serve as Ice Cube’s first album in eight years following 2010’s I Am the West. Last year, he released a 25th anniversary reissue of Death Certificate which included three new songs.
