hodgy beats tyler the creator

It’s obvious that Odd Future aren’t as tight as they once were, and this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, which took place at the LA Coliseum over the weekend, confirmed that there is indeed beef brewing within the group. Hodgy Beats, who has been noticeably detached in recent years, let his feelings towards Tyler, The Creator be known during Saturday night’s performance, before elaborating on social media.

“I feel good [because] I stood up for the ones who are too afraid to say it but they feel that way. Position of power,” Hodgy wrote on Twitter. “Think about who built the name OF together as a unit. Now Think about who took the first initial shit on OF. If it wasn’t for OF where would Tyler be? Be mad at the truth. I have no more words for none of you. You wanna talk come see me. #mindgone.”

Hodgy continued to air out his grievances with Tyler in the comments section of his latest Instagram post: “Call me jealous. Just don’t call my phone. Tyler is a fraud. He turned his back on n*ggas that never crossed him and I’m not just speaking for myself only… Where Earl go? I know he had no part in the carnival.

“This is a business,” he added. “Remember that all you see is only brought to your eyes. I know everything that goes on in the background and I respect him enough not to blast that. Just know a young n*gga changing faces.”

It appears Tyler caught wind of what Hodgy had to say and responded during his own set at the carnival on Saturday. “N*ggas got me fucked up,” he says in the video below (39:30 mark). “I put too many n*ggas on. I helped too many of my motherfucking friends out. And n*ggas gonna come foul? And you know who the fuck I’m talking about n*gga. And yes, it’s getting real. I love you though.”

Tyler also addressed the tension on Twitter while confirming — for fans who may have thought his subliminals were aimed at Earl Sweatshirt — that he and Earl are cool.

Meanwhile, Hodgy Beats continued his solo run by recently dropping the Scoop DeVille-produced “HUNGER”:
