A History of Lil Wayne vs. Pusha-T Beef: From “Mr. Me Too” to the “F–k Pusha” Tweet
Posted by Miss Info under About Miss Info , Beef , Fashion , Hmmm? , New Music , Old Music , Quotes , Videos[112] Comments
Interpretation is a muthaf–ker, ain’t it? On Wednesday night, Pusha T released a song off his upcoming solo album called “Exodus 23:1”, and everything about the Rico Beats-produced track is pure ventilation. Now when I first heard the song back in March, I wondered if Push was sending darts towards Drake…towards a possible producer….towards Cons…towards some aspiring VA artist. And I still think the lyrics, as vicious as they are, can still apply to multiple people. But if the shot goes out and you think it’s about you…then that becomes the story.
So if Pusha spits a line that says:
“Throwing that flag up, thinking you hot s**t taking half of everything you get…”
And Lil Wayne responds with a 4am tweet:
Then I guess that means we’ve flipped over the tables and everyone’s in a bare-knuckle brawling stance. (Even though the line wasn’t intended for that target.)
Now if Weezy seems a bit overly-sensitive, it’s because there was bad blood between him and Pusha tracing back to 2006….so let’s take a little trip down memory lane.
UPDATE: Both Kid Cudi and Pusha T’s brother Malice have responded via Twitter. Read both of their reactions below…
Update: Pusha released a little teaser video
The history of Lil Wayne vs. Pusha T (and The Clipse)…2006 to 2012
After the jump
Both Kid Cudi and Malice voice their thoughts on the recent Twitter wars.
A history recap below:
2006
Lil Wayne on the cover of Vibe Magazine (April, 2006) wearing A Bathing Ape.
Note: Prior to that BAPE was most prominently worn in hip hop circles by Pharrell and The Clipse.
The Clipse subliminally diss Lil Wayne on “Mr. Me Too” (off Hell Hath No Fury).
Note: In the video, the “Mr. Me Too” posers are dressed in Bape.
Lyrics: “Niggas is haters, I’m doing deals like the majors
Ice Cream Sneakers, I signed my first skater
So you can pay three and buy yourself some bapestas
Bulletproof under T-shirts because they hate us…
Wanna know the time? Better clock us
Niggaz bite the style from the shoes to the watches”
Lil Wayne goes off on The Clipse in Complex (writer Toshitaka Kondo, Dec, 2006):
Lil Wayne: I thought the whole ‘Mr. Me Too’ video was about me, to tell you the damn truth. They think I want to be like them. I’m on a million-dollar bus going around the world charging people from $50,000 to $150,000 for verses, and I got 77 songs in magazines and I got a billion more. Do the math; you think I’m trying to be like you? No sir.
Complex: I’m sure you’ve heard…one of the things [The Clipse have] been saying is like ‘Yo, all these dudes, now they do the BAPE and coke rap… But before, that was us. We were the ones who started that.’ How do you feel about that?
Lil Wayne: I don’t rap about no coke. He ain’t talking about me. I don’t rap about no coke. I’ve been rich since I was 14 years old—off of selling records. I do not rap about no damn coke. If I say anything about coke, I speak the truth about it. I don’t go talking about I got none.
I ain’t got no bricks or I’m cooking up—for what? Why is you rapping then? If you cooking up coke what the fuck are you rapping for? Or why if you rapping, what the fuck are you cooking up coke for? Make some sense out of this shit…
Ya dig? I did it four times again after that, just on the charts. I ain’t gotta talk about no coke nor no fucking BAPEs. I got my own shoe out nigga, that OG collection Reebok nigga. I got my own jeans out nigga, W. Two Us, I’ve got my name—the W is gonna be on your bitch ass. Aight?
Complex: Okay.
Lil Wayne: Alright. Stop coming at me about that bullshit man. That’s how you get beef started man…
I don’t see niggas like that. You talking to the best. Talk to me like you’re talking to the best. I don’t see no fuckin’ Clipse. Come on man. Weezy, man. They had to do a song with us to get hot, B. “What Happened To That Boy?” C’mon B. Don’t do that, dog. This is a fucking legend you’re talking to right here. 14 years, B. How many years them niggas been around?
2000…
Who the fuck is Pharrell? Do you really respect him? That nigga wore BAPEs and y’all thought he was weird. I wore it and y’all thought it was hot. C’mon man. C’mon now. The nigga walked around with niggas that looked like you, y’all thought he was crazy. If I did it, y’all gonna think these niggas are killers.
The Clipse respond to Lil Wayne’s Complex comments on Virginia radio (Hot 102.1 FM)
“Wayne, you sort of copying The Clipse right now…I think he made a bad judgment call and just decided to take a swipe at us…maybe he’s got an album coming out. This is a small thing to a giant, he’s just acting out.”
“If anything, I am upset about him using the F word before my name, being as though he likes to sit around and kiss men. If you gonna kiss men, you can’t even use them words in conjunction with The Clipse, Pharrell, or any of the [Star Trak ] family. He’s definitely acting out right now. Jay-Z? Do what you gotta do. But involve The Clipse? You don’t want to do that. I already don’t look at him like a G. He aint nothing like me.”
2007
The Clipse go off on Lil Wayne in Laced Magazine:
Laced: How do you feel about Lil Wayne saying he is the greatest rapper alive?
Malice: If you Wobble Dee Wobble Dee, you can’t be a legend.
Pusha T: You can’t kiss other men, you can’t wobble dee-wobble dee, and and you can’t bite styles. You can’t bite everybody’s styles. You can’t try to rap like Jay-Z, dress like the Clipse, become a coke dealer after 5 albums, and now dress like Jim Jones. You can’t do all that and be a legend. You have to be a trendsetter and he ain’t setting any trends.
Laced: Just a few years ago you’re doing “What Happen To That Boy” with Baby, now today Lil Wayne isn’t saying complimentary things about you. Where do you think this animosity is stemming from?
Pusha T: Yea, Gillie wrote Baby’s part by the way. When “He” was a legend, Gillie wrote Baby’s part. I would’ve thought he’d go to “legend” to get it
written…He should’ve went to “legend” to get it written, but he goes to Gillie Da Kid instead. (laughs)
Malice: I think he’s pretty much trying to save face, because you and I know what it is. The streets said that, it wasn’t us that said it. The streets did all
of that talking.
Pusha T: The streets said he was biting the Clipse. Clipse never said he was biting us, because it didn’t really matter to us. It really don’t matter to us, we have real issues. Like Weezy f**kin Baby (shakes head); come on man, he’s a fa—t. (laughs)
2008
The Clipse subliminally diss Lil Wayne on their We Got It for Cheap vol. 3 intro
Lyrics: “Sorry but I dont’ respect who you applaudin’, lil nigga flow but his metaphors boring”
“Don’t make me turn daddy’s lil’ girl to orphan, that mean I’d have to kill Baby like abortion.”
The Clipse dismiss Lil Wayne beef in a radio interview
During a radio interview in Indiana, Pusha and Malice are put on the spot about Lil Wayne allegedly jacking their swag and style. But instead of confirming and fueling the beef, Pusha says he doesn’t do ‘rap beef’ and keeps it moving.
2011
Pusha T extends an olive branch to Lil Wayne on the song “Open Your Eyes” (off Fear of God)
Lyric: “Free Weezy! Congrats my n—a. Now let Tip go!”
Pusha T tells Complex’s Insanul Ahmed he made peace with Lil Wayne in Miami
“Ever since Lil Wayne went in to jail, that whole little stint [between me and him] is really dead and over with. I don’t have any ill will towards Wayne, Cash Money, or any of them. There was definitely a time period when I felt a certain way [about him], but as of right now I don’t. That’s just where I once was. I don’t even like speaking on it. [On Fear of God] I actually said, ‘They had freed Weezy, congratulations.’ When I seen Wayne in Miami, I told him, ‘Congratulations on getting out of jail.”’
2012
Old petrified shit feels a comeback is in order and hits the fan when Pusha T drops “Exodus 23:1”
Note: Because Pusha T and the rest of the G.O.O.D Music crew were in the South of France for Kanye West’s Cruel Summer premiere at Cannes….they were on a plane when Lil Wayne’s tweet dropped. They just landed. Crank up the barbeque!

**Quick Note**
The fact is Drake has always been a Pusha T fan. On an episode of MTV’s When I Was 17, Drake admitted to buying a microphone off ebay, which was alledgeed to have been signed by Pusha.
Drake also revealed that Pharrell and the Startrak movement inspired him to get into music. He even went so far as to pay $200 on eBay for a plastic microphone that was allegedly signed by Pusha T of Startrak’s rap group Clipse. He used the plastic microphone to act out imaginary red carpet interviews and perform Clipse songs in his room. If it wasn’t definite before, it is now: Drake is officially Hip Hop’s geek.

Clearly the lil girl feelin some kind of way LOL… I don’t think its a shot at one person, i think its aimed at everyone. If you feel its you then its you, if you think its not you. Then its not you. Pusha is talented let the art be art on this one till otherwise advised.
May 24th, 2012 at 3:06 pm
I don’t have any issues with the way Pusha T operates. There are checks and balances built into hip hop that keep people from manipulating the culture and being fake. All he did was what Common did shed light on the truth. Perpetrating a fraud or not keeping it real as the kids say is the only sin that hip hop does not allow. You can’t can’t be fake you have to be true to who you are and what you know. I like it, I think this strikes a nerve Wayne because he is unable to operate without impunity and spreading bullshit with no recourse. It’s good to have people question your bullshit every now and again. You don’t see Jay get bent out of shape when he’s questioned or 50 get annoyed. If you wanna be great this comes with the territory. Someone tell him channeling Tupac with his tweet is example of why people don’t view him like Pac. If you want to be the 1st you,Do a genuine you. (this kinda also applies to Kanye as well sometimes)
May 24th, 2012 at 3:17 pm
Lmao @ the lil tidbit about Drake..he’s a cornball for that one but anyways..
A hit dog will holler, and that’s exactly what Wayne did.
When I heard this song, my first thought was that it’s directed towards Drake. Not once did Wayne come to mind because I remember hearing that Push and him squashed their mess when Wayne got out of prison; but to see him react on twitter?? yeaa buddy, you’re feeling some type of way.
Now let’s get a battle going, my money’s on Pusha
May 24th, 2012 at 3:33 pm
You forgot about the .. We got it for cheap freestyles when pusha was dissing Wayne ….. Miss info don’t know all the info
May 24th, 2012 at 3:38 pm
Lil Wayne eyelids read “Fear God” …Pusha
EP is called “Fear of God” ..lmao Pusha been baiting him the whole time.
“Exodus 23:1”- “You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
DRAKE N WAYNE FAKE AS THEY COME!
May 24th, 2012 at 3:48 pm
I agree 100%!
May 24th, 2012 at 3:51 pm
great story! this is the reason I come to this site FIRST!!!
May 24th, 2012 at 4:01 pm
she def knows about it, she posted it on the site. I believe it was on Game’s big dreams beat.
May 24th, 2012 at 4:04 pm
I always wait for the Miss Info breakdown, but do you remember if the “You can keep your beats, nigga/We’d much rather share your bitch, nigga, bitch nigga” line was in there when you heard it in March?
Because if it was Young Chop would be complaining about nothing because his issue with Kanye in the beat wasn’t until late April-early March
May 24th, 2012 at 4:08 pm
“Fuk pusha t and anybody that love em”
Oh wow…
Somebody struck a nerve, huh? LMAO! I know violence isn’t to be encouraged, but I’d love to see Wayne get his ass kicked. F*ck all that “it’s just entertainment” b.s.; all talk and no action dudes are wack. Be a man ’bout yours. Step up or step off. Damn, I gotta calm down. lol.
May 24th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
“Old petrified shit feels a comeback is in order…” You must be some kind of writer; are you a writer?!
I did it for the lulz.
May 24th, 2012 at 4:42 pm
You’re forgetting the subs Weezy sent:
“Plenty colors in the chain, nicca, FULK BAPE”
May 24th, 2012 at 4:55 pm
you mean late April-early *May ??
good point by the way..
May 24th, 2012 at 4:57 pm
I’m thinkin it is about Drake and Wayne’s just jumping to his defense. Pusha been takin jabs at Aubs for a lil minute now..
May 24th, 2012 at 5:00 pm
i thought the same thing.
May 24th, 2012 at 5:18 pm
Thank you miss info for putting the history of they beef up i was tryin for a min to find like the history cuz i forgot abou t the controversy over the mr. me too video and i was lookin for it on the web but couldnt find like a history only bits and pieces … but for the record Push is doing the same thing com did he show the flare up in the air and see hows gonna look up and run to it basically …. drake need to stay quiet and jus keep doing him … weezy i guess is tired of the shots and i guess we will finally see push and weezy exchange subliminal jabs ….. i wouldnt be surprise if jay tap him on the shoulder to tell im to take care of that lol ..
May 24th, 2012 at 5:31 pm
Well said.
May 24th, 2012 at 5:48 pm
my bad May
May 24th, 2012 at 5:50 pm
Funniest part about all of this is that Malice seems to have lost a very important follower since he made the decision to turn “Pastor Ma$e” lol.
Damn Minya… this Twitter shit stupid.
May 24th, 2012 at 6:04 pm
Am I the only one who thinks this tweet was a drunk tweet much like a drunk dial?
I mean nothing that feminine in nature could have been done while you are in your right mind. (i’m going to assume)
Oh and I love the lost tapes but that Big 10 is still better IMO
May 24th, 2012 at 6:09 pm
This is exactly what I’m wondering, but if MissInfo’s reply to my tweet is any indication, then the answer is yes that line was there
May 24th, 2012 at 6:13 pm
Chuuch!
May 24th, 2012 at 6:18 pm
You’re talkin about a dude that wears leppard jeggins and kisses Baby in the mouth… if that ain’t feminine, I don’t know what is…
May 24th, 2012 at 6:33 pm
exodus 23:1 sounds like a regular generic anonymous battle rap. i don’t hear a line on it that directly targets drake. everyone’s reaching. unless drake keyed pusha’s car or something, why would anyone think that song was aimed at drake? give me a line, make an argument, otherwise i say y’all are reaching.
“you’re signed to a n____ that’s signed to a n___ that’s signed to three n____s”. well, drake is signed to wayne who is signed to baby who isn’t signed to anybody, let alone three people. wtf?
May 24th, 2012 at 6:36 pm
Wayne swag jackin the shit out of people. Talks like NYer’s, dresses like dipset, raps like jay-z. He’s still talented but not really sure who he is. Idk thats me im just sayin!
May 24th, 2012 at 6:40 pm
I respect Weezy for calling Pusha out..he stay take’n lil sneak shots, he is TOO OLD for all that sneak diss’n. I do think Wayne was just sticking up for Drizzy. Wayne and Pusha been had differences. Now I see everyone is on Pusha, but are u the same ppl who became Common fans, once he dissed Drake, and looked like an old fart seeking attention. I dig Pusha, but he STAYS sneak diss’n. Pusha is like 36yrs old and been in the game for a loooong time and has respect, but no TRUE FANS. We shall see if this helps. I doubt it sales album..Example: Common..had a bunch of new fans because he called on Drake, but these same ppl didnt go buy his album..Jus sayn
May 24th, 2012 at 6:45 pm
But where was Wayne when Drake was getting killed by Common? Baby tried to pull him out of there early with that bullshit “we don’t do beef rap” excuse.
May 24th, 2012 at 6:52 pm
How’s Drake fake exactly?
May 24th, 2012 at 6:52 pm
Pusha is way more lyrical than Wayne! Wayne is child rap, Pusha is grown men rap!!
May 24th, 2012 at 7:00 pm
Not even sure why Wayne would shine the light on this dude like he wants. People diss YMCMB to get their names out like they used to do with Jay-Z back in the day. How lame is it that you got the best producer in the game on your side and you have to resort to dissing other dudes to get press. Hoe shit at its finest.
May 24th, 2012 at 7:01 pm
*dead* lls
May 24th, 2012 at 7:03 pm
Actually 2 other gentlemen do own Cashmoney along With baby so the pie is cut 3 ways. It’s the same 3 dudes you always see with baby their just quite and don’t do the superstar thing is all
May 24th, 2012 at 7:40 pm
Now let me get this right, these dudes are dissing each other about their clothes choices? That’s how this started? Hollow threats and yelps and crazy brolic gestures will infest this summer. SMDH
May 24th, 2012 at 8:00 pm
All bullshit. Str8 bullshit. Like some girl shit. They all millionaires acting like this? get real
May 24th, 2012 at 8:03 pm
lol… shit, it’s true
May 24th, 2012 at 8:33 pm
You forgot about the subliminal Pusha threw on the Chevy Ridin’ High Remix:
“If he claim king and he claim best, then I guess you can call me God/ there’s none higher, none flyer”
May 24th, 2012 at 9:18 pm
Its the Ultimate Subliminal!!
Its ment to touch a nerve n make you look at ya team in a different light.
Why does it seem like its directed at Drake?
Because the minute that beef wit him n Common got real Baby squashed that shit the next day.
An as far the line “signed to nigga thats signed…” thats Ludacris’ jab at Big Sean n Drake from Bada Boom. Pusha just dusted that shit off. Amazingly somebody really took it to heart.
Tell’em why you mad son!!
May 24th, 2012 at 10:34 pm
Everyone seems to miss or forget Pusha’s verse from Big Dreams on Road to Till the Casket Drops
He said:To He who claims to be the Heir — How dare Pusha nay say it? Them niggas hear me and they May Day it! So I can care less if Jay say it! It’s too political when Jay say it, He play the game, just instant replay it!
He is directly talking about Wayne usurping a title among the greats on Mr. Carter and Jayz letting it slide.
May 24th, 2012 at 11:15 pm
Agree… But why in the world does Officer Ricky Ross get a pass. He raps about nothing besides bottles and things he never did, he just picks good beats (i’ll credit him there). I thought 50 bodied him as well as Banks going loco on a 3 minute no hook character assassination. Baffles me to this day how he is still relevant.
May 24th, 2012 at 11:19 pm
Exodus 23:1 “Do not spread false reports. Do not help a wicked man by being a malicious witness”
The title itself is a subliminal. that sealed the deal for me. Lil Wayne couldn’t be that clever if he was “cleaver”, that’s his punchline seriously.
May 24th, 2012 at 11:22 pm
Nailed it. I’m glad you picked that up. I thought i was the only one reading between the lines. also i find it even more clever that exodus has the word “malicious” in it given his brother’s former rap name lol
May 24th, 2012 at 11:51 pm
For sayin shit like “you like the fucking finish line we can’t wait to run into you”… knowing that he ain’t about that life. He told the tattoo artist that called him soft that he was gonna lay hands on him when he saw him.. then he saw him and laid zero hands. Matter fact that nigga stayed in the car like a bitch and had a security guy get out to “talk” to him.
Aubs has the ability to make good music but sometimes he tries to act tuff and he’s just not built like that. This nigga is the Canadian equivalent of Skreech. He’s an actor acting like a rapper. So he’s just acting how HE thinks a rapper should act.
IMO
May 25th, 2012 at 12:07 am
PREACH!
May 25th, 2012 at 12:24 am
*Died* *Came Back To Life* Then *Died* Of Laughter AGAIN!
May 25th, 2012 at 12:38 am
Actually the collateral damage caused by 50 on Ross is astronomical. I mean you gotta look at it the way you look at the economy only in reverse. You hear people say the recovery is so slow, and then you can make the argument if Obama didnt act it could have been worse. Well in Rick’s case he was on the borderline of being the next Jay and from the south none the less. He had movies and tons of deals on the table a Nike spot the whole SHABANG!!! In one swoop 50 ended all of that. Yeah he has a career and people still buy his records and he’s still apart of the hip hop lexicon, but what 50 took from him in the long run far out way anything he did to Jah even. smh I mean he almost became Iconic like Queen Latifah or Will Smith and then he popped off a few bars going at 50 in a freestyle (being to greedy) and BLAM!! all that shit was deaded……..
May 25th, 2012 at 12:43 am
Damn homie that is craaaaaaaaaaaaay smh
May 25th, 2012 at 12:47 am
Common is one of the few artist who actually doesnt need a large record sales number to exist I mean drop him anywhere on the planet earth and dude is selling a show out period
May 25th, 2012 at 1:14 am
i swear people read too much into this kinda shit. It like everybody transforms into a #1 dectective! How is Fear of God EP biting Lil Wayne’s eye tatt. That hoe shit, nobody gives a damn about the tattoos you have one your body & i know Pusha wasnt even thinking about Lil Wayne when he named that. And i know Pusha didnt look & read through the Bible to find the word “malicious” because his brothers old rap name.
Lil wayne thinks everybody is coming out for him & YMCMB. Like supposedly Jay-Z “Dissed” Baby on H.A.M. which i still dont understand how he did to this day haha. But hey i didnt write that song and i didnt write this song either Pusha T did and only Pusha T knows who he is aiming at, if anyone.
May 25th, 2012 at 1:21 am
realest comment on here! im glad somebody has common sense
May 25th, 2012 at 1:54 am
And there’s the Pusha verse on Illin’.
Tell Hova don’t pass the crown so soon
Unless he got a crown for every writer in the room
There’s too many spirits on these ghost-written tunes
So you can’t crown the heir until you seance the room
May 25th, 2012 at 1:56 am
How old are these people dissing each other about swag and who stole it. Last week this other dude was talking about his beef was based on a blunt. 6th graders are more mature than these guys. Why can’t it just be I’m not a fan of this guy and we won’t do a song together. All this dissing amounts to nothing. His whole diss to drake made no sense. So what is drake is under 5 people. It’s common knowledge that drake has on off the best contract in the music industry. Baby and wanye are getting a smaller cut from drake than their getting from Nikki or tyga. I’m not defending drake just stating facts. Drake pissing my of too. He’s always sending subliminals shot and then hide his hand when they confont him in interviews. He just strikes me as a guy not comfortable in his skin. I guess me on tracks with all these “street rappers” make him think he needs to find in. I’m waiting for the rapper who comes in a says I’m not a gangster and not about “that life” I’m just here to make good music and money to feed my family.
May 25th, 2012 at 2:30 am
Leopard leggings, feathered uggs wearing, tongue kissing, amateur skateboarding, identity searching, medical prescribed drug using, how to love singing ass nicca! Hip Hop’s Faith Is As Uncertain As President Obama’s 2nd Term! #SMH…
May 25th, 2012 at 6:18 am
Weezy is rich and all. But he’ll never be as real as pusha its really sad that he claims to be a legend, (best rapper alive) and this is all he had to say to pusha (fuk pusha t and anybody that luv him) come on man.
May 25th, 2012 at 6:44 am
Can’t forget about a possible private Laura London issue… Fronting vid Weezy mixtape calling her a Ho and appearing on Clipse re up vol 3 and being in Pharrell that girl vid
May 25th, 2012 at 6:57 am
Gotta point there btw she Clipse road to the casket drop mixtape
May 25th, 2012 at 7:05 am
Laura London was around at some point…..from her being in Pharrell vids to being on Clipse road til the casket drops mixtape
May 25th, 2012 at 7:50 am
im going to try and keep this short.
Pusha didnt call any names and he cannot help it if lil wayne felt insecure, the “flags” line could easily refer to a bucket load of rappers pick 1. (ooh yeah the fact that it features The-Dream doesnt help either)
and secondly “you can keep your beats; 3 million cant hide that” (yes i know i skipped a part)..i would say its timbaland who else can charge so much for a boom boom bap.
My thoughts..fact is pusha is nice and the fact he uses God and bible refferences to dispel his bars gives me chills.
May 25th, 2012 at 8:40 am
@mustafa
I dont think 50 deaded anything. Now 50 having ross’ baby mama in the store w/ stevie wonder in the background was pure/raw hilarious comedy. Ross rhymes better than 50 and most the shit 50 talks about 50 himself never did anything. He’s just as fake as ross…he just can’t rhyme as well. Banks and yayo don’t even exist anymore.
May 25th, 2012 at 8:43 am
How can ya’ll say this is about Drake? Don’t ya’ll remember when Pusha got interviewed and he dismissed any Drake beef, or any Drake subliminals?
Either Pusha is real confused or he been sniffing too much crack.
May 25th, 2012 at 8:55 am
Truth!
Sometimes wayne got really good stuff and sometimes wayne is pure garbage. I can’t stomach hearing Drake on the radio. Best thing out of them right now is Minaj.
May 25th, 2012 at 10:16 am
forgot about that connection of Lauren London. Which leads me to refer to big ta’s re-fuckin-ply. They both good at times but..Fuch them, Fuch this,…I said too muckin fuch.
May 25th, 2012 at 10:30 am
@Kev stfu…either you can’t read or you’re tragically stupid… “biting”?? who said that?…most of it is metaphoric..how long have you been listening to hip-hop? because you seriously don’t get it..smh
May 25th, 2012 at 10:55 am
you (Drake) signed to a nigga ( Wayne ) thats signed to a nigga ( Baby ) thats signed to three niggas ( Universal Music )
May 25th, 2012 at 11:19 am
“Old petrified shit feels a comeback is in order and hits the fan when Pusha T drops “Exodus 23:1″” What does that mean lmaoo… is ms.info going in on Weezy calling him old petrified shit lmao??
May 25th, 2012 at 12:08 pm
YEEEESSSS!!! How can u respect a dude who wasn’t writing his Raps!!!
May 25th, 2012 at 12:21 pm
A G.O.O.D Music and Young Money beef would do my summer right. Its been a recent influx of rappers coming in the game and it would be nice to see a lil competition to see who’s really hungry and lyrically the coldest. Wayne recently dissed “the throne” at the concert so i’d like to see this beef go all the from Pusha T to Jay-z. I wanna see Wayne go at his idol HOV. I want Pusha T takin jabs at the whole young money camp. I wanna see Hov get his hands dirty again and delivery a “super ugly” or a “takeover”. I know Kanye doesn’t participate in beef but he shouldn’t shy away from the chance to rep his team and win a battle.
Pusha T technically is only signed to Kanye because its a production deal. Pusher T’s distribution is at another label. So Pusha T is correct when commenting on all the people in Drake’s pocket. Also nice Pusha used Dream on the hook. Dream and Wayne have personal beef due to their in common relationships female R&B artists.
In my opinion, (which in the grand scheme of things isn’t that important) Drake should have signed to ROCNATION. Better fit and his longevity would be more insured under HOV.
I feel like despite the violence rap beef inspires… Rap beef is healthy. I enjoy the initial subliminal shots and then the direct references that come later. In hip hop there must be a clear “top dog” Right now these two camps are producing the best music besides MMG. So I say give the people what they want. FULL SCALE LYRICAL WAR!
May 25th, 2012 at 1:32 pm
Am I the only one that sees this as no big deal? nothing is going to happen, there is not going to be an all out war.

“Rappers on their sophomores*, actin’ like they boss lords.” [ Pusha – Don’t f*ck with me freestyle ] <<< See Drake's sophomore album cover.
"Chappelle Show, all them Neal Brennans" [ Don't f*ck with me ] << Remember when Dave said Neal betrayed him? – oh yea..Neal's Jewish, Drake's jewish. meh.
"The talk don’t match the leather, the swag don’t match the sweaters* [ Don't f*ck with me ] <<<This shit SCREAMS Drake!
"Put Trey up on your hook, still couldn’t save ‘em" [ Don't f*ck with me ] <<<< Hello! Go youtube the Trey/ Drake bromance real quick!
Of course he would dismiss it, he wasn't (and still is not) ready for an all out battle, he's just throwing darts because he knows without that blackberry Drake won't do shit! (see: Drake funk flex freestyle)
And Corbin already covered the "you signed to a nigga, that's signed ….." but that's not a strong enough defense because who isn't signed to someone that's signed to another that's signed to… yea you catch my drift
May 25th, 2012 at 3:01 pm
Wayne is fake, true. But the fact that Pusha T has been taking little jabs and small shots at Lil Wayne for years shows what Pusha T is. He’s obsessed with Wayne because you don’t write, rap, speak, or even think on someone that much unless your obsessed. Also Drake needed that diss on him, because Drake is a great rapper but he doesn’t need to talk street sh-t considering he’s not street. He had a barmitsfah, he’s from a rich community in Canada, etc.
May 25th, 2012 at 5:07 pm
This shit ridiculous and manufactured….
The line they say is for Drake is reaching deeeeeep… It doesn’t seem like Drake to me because the facts don’t add up.
While I am always happy to hear some excitement, I just think this is absolutely ridiculous but Lil Wayne went and responded via twitter and now they have something more to talk about.. Its laughable but its better than reading news about Waka Flocka’s Triple F Life…. LOL
May 25th, 2012 at 5:26 pm
Fair enough. All of your points were valid, lol. I didn’t even know about Drake staying in the car while his people went and spoke to the tattoo artist. I’d still love to see a YMCMB/G.O.OD. music battle though-as long as it stays on wax.
May 25th, 2012 at 5:35 pm
Tha Carter II, Dedication 2&3, The Suffix, Drought 3 even Tha Carter III (arguably) are pretty good mixtapes/albums which showcase Weezy’s lyrical ability. Many agreed that he deserved that title of Best Rapper Alive.
May 25th, 2012 at 6:03 pm
Either way it’s fun to dissect the subliminal! Plus, I love when music has religious analogies attached to it. : )
May 25th, 2012 at 6:14 pm
this ‘beef’ has always been stupid. i like the clipse and pusha T but the truth is they’ve had a weird obsession with wayne ever since he started popping off lauren london, their proclaimed, “homegirl.”
let’s be honest, Wayne got famous, started wearing Bape hoodies, and smashing Lauren London, and Pusha T was wondering why that wasn’t him. it’s kind of embarrassing.
with that said, I didn’t hear a diss in this song, and I think Wayne just took bait. if it leads to some rapping, i’m with it. but i’m pretty sure we’ll just get some more sublims and tweets, definitely some question-dodging interviews.
nobody will say anybody’s name in a song, except for maybe kid cudi and he’ll probably be playing a guitar and singing at the same time or something. and he’ll apologize later and say he was high or something.
and then we’ll see pusha and wayne together at an all-star game, hugging and smiling at each other.
May 25th, 2012 at 6:22 pm
Hear, hear!!!
May 25th, 2012 at 8:21 pm

May 26th, 2012 at 2:59 am
Heh. Stay tuned.
May 26th, 2012 at 4:58 am
pusha T is one of the best down south…but when it comes to wayne & drake, the man seems kinda jealous to me. Drake said he was clipse #1 fan back in the day so why is pusha disiing this man? everybody knows pusha dissed drake on “dreams money can buy” but what was his motive? He just bitter for no reason & sneak dissin like a bitch.
May 26th, 2012 at 6:00 pm
Rap feuds are as much a part of hip hop as break dancing and graffiti and every now and then two titans at the top of their game go for each other’s necks lyrically in an effort dominance in the eye of the general public. This is not one of those times. And as a side note rappers beef is not just found in hip hop,itr has since crossed over to the tattoo industry, which is a serious industry to whom only the real survive

Whoever said that he should be best rapper alive should not be alowed to listen to rap, you stated that it was because of his lyrical capabilities and he is not even top 100 on that lost
May 28th, 2012 at 8:53 am
How the fuck do you know what rick Ross did or not? Your a broke ass commentator, but assume you know what went down in Rozay’s life. but you dnt, Bitch stop hatin
May 28th, 2012 at 8:54 am
Did yall hear what Drake said to Pusha T lame ass last night while on his Club Paradise Tour. He told dat nigga: “If you was doin 16′s when I was 16 and yo shit still flopped, “and you switched teams, “Don’t talk to me nigga”. Daaammmmm. Pusha T really don’t want these problems. He a beast on the Rap side, but Drake and Wayne will kill this nigga beef-wise. YMCMB usually shy away from Beef because they are to busy runnin this rap shit and it’s actually smart because whenever you beef with a nigga, you make that person relevant for a while, so why entertain bullshit. Push T aint dropped a album or shit else in forever, but to get his name out there, he chose to go at wayne and drake(hottest niggaz out right now) to be recognized again, and what better way to do that then to start drama with those who are runnin hiphop. Just to be in the media and all over these sites and tabloids. See Wayne don’t shy away from beef because he’s scared of other rap niggaz, he do it to avoid makin that person beefin with him a valid person in the rap game. But they say Pusha T finna come out with this big diss record with a big feature on it(probably Jay-Z or somebody), but Wayne could care less cause just like Lil Kim, Common, that shit will fade out and get squashed and Young Money will remain on top and those so called beef starters will sell shitty. PS: Fuck Pusha T and anybody who love him and anybody else who’s against my muthafuckin team, YMCMB till I die Bitch
May 28th, 2012 at 8:54 am
I just realized every site that heard this diss record keeps tryna assasinate Wayne’s character. All hey bring up is that first line he dropped about head-buttin and Pusha T’s head up his ass. I clearly got that, but mufuckas takin it out of context, he was makin a metaphore by saying: “His head is up his ass, now imma have to headbutt him”. Which means, Pusha T is on bullshit and got his head up his ass cause he caint shine and now Wayne has to headbutt him (hurt him, diss him, put him in his place, kill him lyrically, etc.) But thats the line they choose to concentrate on other than all the other dope shit he said in the track, that’s bullshit, but thats what the media does when one group is outshining the rest of the whole industry which YMCMB is doing, to try and knock them off their square cause other artists can barely shine will all the hits and music young money is putting out, I mean there on every track and every feature and in every award show and every magazine and site and people hate on that. but why choose that line to concentrate on talkin bout, “ummm, so does he mean he’s gonna put his head up Pusha T’s ass”, just dumb shit they say to discredit Wayne and his work ethic. But I understood the line and im sure most of you guys did too. But he said a bunch of Dope shit on this track that people chose to avoid discussing like “I aint on that fuck shit, I been on on that Trukfit, yo bitch do tounge tricks and you niggaz sweeter than 1 6. You fuckin with some niggaz that’ll murder yall, boy you softer than a muthafuckin nerf-ball, Birdcall, what happen to that boi, he was talkin shit, we put a clappin to that boy. just some shit I’ve noticed and as big of a Waynehead as I am, I won’t let it go unnoticed. YMCMB till Im gone Bitch. Disect his lines, and stop listenin with your ears closed. Wayne the same nigga that said: ” Imma mind-freak, check my time-sheet, “Bitch I bring the noise where the luions sleep”. Which goes to show you his thought process is deeper than any regular ass rap nigga. Digg
May 28th, 2012 at 10:16 am
Nigga please shut tha fuck up and put yo helmet on with your retarded ass. “YMCMB till I die Bitch” <– Tha fuck!? Are you signed to them? Are they paying you? FOH with that ignant ass shyt! Tha song was weak, period! Ain't no other way to put it. Hell, it wasn't even a diss, rather a rant. A rant… Pusha gave facts, Weezy caught feelings and went on a rant (started on twitter no less… a bitch move). I'll give that nigga 1 point for saying his name and that's it. Tha rest of that shyt was nothing but a fairy tails and was garbage as hell. Fact vs fiction in a battle? Uh I'ma go with facts. But you're a delusional YM fan so of course you'd side with them even if God himself smacked tha truth in your face. SMFH
YM fans always using tha same lame ass excuses time and time again: sells, age, fame, etc. What tha fuck that gotta do with skills and facts?
Ps Drake ain't said shyt either, muthafuckas calling Push out for being subliminal, yet Drake did tha same shyt at a fuckin concert. Whoopsie doo.
Tha nigga ethered tha entire YM (Tyga, Drake, Nicki, Wayne and Baby) in 4 mins and all Wayne said was "fuk Pusha T"
“Fuck the records you sold ’cause if you go platinum, it’s got nothing to do with luck , it just means that a million people are stupid as fuck.” – Immortal Technique
May 28th, 2012 at 12:01 pm
@Chiyosuke, suck somethin, lol. Bitch ass nigga, imma fan, meaning i can say what the fuck I wanna say, lame ass
May 28th, 2012 at 12:12 pm
A million people stupid for buying wayne shit huh?, lol, but you smart i guess, so what about those who purchased Adele or Lady Gaga album, dumb too huh? Get yo goofy ass outta here, what you thought bitch, you was gone come at me and i aint gone have shit to say back, im eatin and hoe ass niggaz like you that are against major artists are against their fans to I guess, Do i give a fuck, not really, I just aint for fuck niggaz like you comin at me and dnt even knw me, So like I said puss ass boi, YMCMB till I die, get yo bread right, then hate on a nigga. Lol. Diss or no diss, who eatin and who tryna become relevant. You can’t be garbage and still sell a million copies and be on everybody feature, point blank. If you could most of these garbage ass rappers would be in the lime-light. So like Pusha T, Fuck you and anybody that love you. You caint change my mind with the funny-style lame ass comments, suck a rich nigga dick and like i said, you aint gotta like wayne, Yo Bitch do tho, Haaaaaa
May 28th, 2012 at 12:48 pm
Bytch shut yo dumb faggot ass up nigga. Come with facts, not yo weak ass ym statistics.
May 28th, 2012 at 1:23 pm
Facts, look it up before opening yo mouth, why would I put bullshit out there that can be disputed, Carter 4 did go triple platinum, YMCMB IS runnin shit currently, Wayne IS on a billion mag covers and topping the billboard, If it aint him, Drake or Nikki Minaj, it’s Adele and Lady Gaga(not in hiphop). I stay with proof, you just a hater and avoiding looking it up, stay in yo place, you making yoself look dumber and aint shit you can say to make me think otherwise.
May 28th, 2012 at 1:40 pm
1) A million people stupid for buying wayne shit huh? Yes dumbass, either stupid, followers, brainwashed muthafuckas, little girls, etc. Tha dude’s a marketing genius, true enough. He USED TO BE extremely talented, but now that nigga is garbage as fuck, deal with it.
2) Shut up bytch, when did I EVER say I was against major artists? I don’t fuck with that faggot clique in tha least. But let’s get something clear, I’ve been rockin with Wayne since 97 dude. Plenty of niggas will echo my sentiments Wayne was tha truth up until 07. I don’t give a flying fuck how much he sells, how many bytches he fuckin, how much money he got. Tha nigga don’t have any content. Period! Tha nigga been sayin tha same shyt for tha past 4 years and it’s rapidly getting dumber. Go ahead and buy that nigga’s music, it don’t hurt me in tha least, you tha one paying for tha same ratchet ass punchlines and weak metaphores over and over again. Let me guess, I bet you’re at a 5th grade reading level right? Nigga, get cha ass back in school, pick up a book or two and further yo edumacation cuz you’re coming off mad stupid bruh. You ain’t part of YMCMB so quit shoutin it out nigga, get that nigga’s nuts out yo mouth my nigga!
3) Tha same way I came at you was how u came at tha entire board FUCK NIGGA. An eye for an eye.
4) “Diss or no diss, who eatin and who tryna become relevant.” You forgot tha question mark nigga, smfh. And once again you came with that lame excuse. *GASP* Maybe, just maybe, muthafuckas is tired of hearing this wack shyt. Just maybe a nigga knew in his heart that he’s far better than tha niggas claiming they’re the best talking slick and shyt (you know, the fag Wayne and the walking vagina Drake). I’m all for this battle cuz hip hop’s been soft for far too long.
4) “You can’t be garbage and still sell a million copies and be on everybody feature” It’s called dickriding… kinda like what you’re doing RIGHT NOW. Fuck off nigga. Tha features and shyt started when he was still great at this rap shyt. Tha nigga’s still eating off pre-2008 Wayne’s fame, but trust, these two nigga ARE NOT the same. He still on top (undeservedly so) so niggas are gonna try to get in good and try to get a hot 16 out of him (can’t remember the last time he’s done that consistantly).
5) “So like Pusha T, Fuck you and anybody that love you” Same to you ol’ faggot ass bytch.
6) “You caint change my mind with the funny-style lame ass comments” My comments spoke the truth, yours was just a rant… Ha, nigga you “Goulished” yourself (self ethered).
7) “suck a rich nigga dick” I’m actually straight and happily in a relationship, sounds more like your cup-o-tea faggot ass nigga.
8) “you aint gotta like wayne, Yo Bitch do tho” Ha! My bytch don’t even know who Wayne is, much less does she remotely give a fuck. You should’ve seen her face when I showed her tha video of Wayne on 106 talkin bout “I’m the only one he kiss.” Stand down.
May 28th, 2012 at 1:55 pm
Oh yea, Adele is talented, so that get’s no diss from me. As far as Gaga, I’ll pass
May 28th, 2012 at 2:51 pm
@chiyosuke, You said all that just for me to tell you once again, I don’t give a fuck what you say, PERIOD. What I stated were facts and what your doing is hating, but like Young Money and Wayne, I dnt give a fuck. Nigga im at work finding something to do to pass the time. What you mad for, Lol, haaaa. Bitch ass nigga. I much rather discuss this with yo bitch who probably is disgusted with you. But, keep talkin shit, its kinda funny and helps to pass the lil time I got left at work. YMCMBV till I die. haaaaa. Now respond bitch
May 28th, 2012 at 3:02 pm
Oh, and bitch has a I in it not a Y, mr gammatically correct, lol. Find a better way to be a asshole hoe ass nigga. This aint a essay, it’s a site and you clearly understood what the fuck I was saying due to your response fuck-boy. Haaaaa. Don’t be mad
May 28th, 2012 at 4:38 pm
Answered you in the other post so I have no clue why u posting tha same shyt in both threads.
Yea I get it. You’re clearly under 25 so you can’t comprehend much of what I’m saying, so continue “claiming” YMCMB. Tha shyt is mad funny bruh or girl (what the fuck are you anyway?)
May 29th, 2012 at 7:44 am
Just a quick note. That Luda line was aimed at Shawn Jay of Field Mob (who’s sign to T-Pain), not Drake or Sean. After tha fact Shawn Jay murdered Luda lol
May 31st, 2012 at 4:52 am
Print media is dead. CD sales mean nothing, all music is free.
Best case scenario, this beef is Hip Hop’s Game of Thrones. Worst case scenario, this beef is the male version of Basketball Wives.
Individually, Wayne is a child celebrity but Pusha Ton is an uncertainty. Their individual collectives seem strong, which could make for great entertainment.
Regardless of The Victor, The Spirit of Competition Shall Reign.
May 31st, 2012 at 9:21 pm
Exactly, thats the bottom line to it all. Hip hop is getting so boring now with everybody sounding exactly the same. Hip hop sad to say, needs a beef and as long as it stays on wax is all good. Another thing is knowing how to rap should not be based on sales, especially considering this day and time production sells more than good lyrics. Write a couple rhymes and add a lex luger beat to it and it will probally be a hit. Im a big fan of hip hop as well as wayne and pusha both. In my opinion wayne can ride a beat well and punchline the hell out of a song. Push to me is all out raw and is the definition to “real rap”. Put the glamour to the side and compare straight up spittin. When I think of real rap, name like push, jadakiss, mos def, aundre, nas, jay, etc. I dont think Wayne can be put in that category. Remember we talkin about rap beef, that means one on one skill for skill.
June 1st, 2012 at 5:55 pm
The sad thing is niggaz in Hip-Hop no longer respect the real and love the fake now. Look at Rick Ross’ police ass gettin love everywhere….in the 90’s Ross police ass would never make it in Hip-Hop.
June 1st, 2012 at 8:01 pm
@ C.E.O. True but hey in the end being fake does have a ceiling
I doubt the iconic status he was on track will ever happen now he’s been exposed.
@jreed you might wanna take an anger management class only faggots get that sensitive about an abstract conversation
June 2nd, 2012 at 6:55 am
Y’all gat gud comentx, beef s 1 elemnt of hip hop, so lt ds Nigaz gt dr cola popin n kip d beef on until d’r tired…
June 21st, 2012 at 8:35 pm
Lmbooooooo , dis nigga killed his ass .
June 22nd, 2012 at 10:58 am
lol i forgot all about that post
July 22nd, 2012 at 1:30 pm
Lmao ey ya’ll are funny. The fact still remains that Lil wayne and Drake are the shit right now whether you see em as fake or not it doesn’t matter and the thing is the singing/rapping about what people want. If Pusha T was so good then everybody would know about him times have changed and so is hip hop. Jay Z has been rapping since the old days and his music has changed as time goes and he does the same shit that wayne does so why hate on wayne? YMCMB and MMG are the shit right now no matter what
November 29th, 2012 at 6:35 am
chiyosuke, actually Shawn Jay is signed to Young Cash who works for T-pain.
Also Shawn Jay diss was Awful!
Ludacris buried Shawn Jay.

Because Rick Ross(the floss) paid the real Rick Ross(the one who actually sold all the drugs “the floss” claims to have sold)over $1 million after being sued by the real Rick Ross basically for identity theft. On top of that “Rozay” was for 18 months of his life a correctional officer. In other words a prison guard, and now we are supposed to believe he was/is some drug king pin? The man never sold a gram of anything other than bull shit in his life until he became famous then he sold bs by the truck load, and retards, excuse me developmentally deficient people, like yourself believe him. Fuc Ross(the floss), and all of MMG, and YMCMB.
December 13th, 2013 at 5:41 pm
Pusha T is a fly to Wayne
