I don’t have a sense as to whether the movie Our Idiot Brother will be any good, but I’m a huge Paul Rudd fan…even if he’s rocking a stringy Gilda Radner wig throughout. Maybe the movie will be hysterical and heartwarming like I Love You, Man. Or maybe it will be lame and forced like Dinner For Schmucks. Either way, for Paul, I’ll give it a try. (Remember that time when Paul Rudd had to watch the Artie Lange vs. Joe Buck beef?)
What is hilarious is the FunnyOrDie skit in which Paul Rudd stops by to visit his Miramax boss Harvey Weinstein….and pitches some genius marketing ploys for Our Idiot Brother.

Harvey: Is that toilet paper?
Paul: yeah….I was on the bus.

Paul: Are we sold on the title? How bout this? Paul Rudd Presents Our Idiot Brother…colon, The Hangover….comma, Borat.

Speaking of Harvey….I wonder if he’s really like the Tropic Thunder character that he allegedly inspired? I’ve heard worse stories about Hollywood producer Scott Rudin (who allegedly inspired the movie Swimming With Sharks)
