HA: Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo are actually the G-unit voice of reason
Posted by Miss Info under laugh at , relationships and family , videos[12] Comments
the whole topic of Alicia Keys and her questionable (and possibly misrepresented) Blender mag quotes is tired tired tired.
But I still loved this video (thanks Nigel) because of the insight into the personal dynamics within G-unit. Lol @ Banks and Yayo being up on the latest developments and Alicia Key’s press releases….Lol @ Fif not giving 2 ishes about those developments in his desire to make an inflammatory point.

Ohh if you dont think ‘Black Mags’ by the Cool Kids goes, then I think you have lost. Nothing to do with clothes, posturing, fakeness, re-inventing the wheel or thinkging they’re bigger than the next artist. Just raw dope unadulterated hip-hop.

So does Ice Cube go down in history as the only guy who was actually cooler BEFORE he got rid of the jherri curl?

Alicia Keys comments thru me off 4 real!! i remember when the Government was trying to ban hip-hop/gangster rap.
Ice-T had that rock track “Cop Killer” which was labelled hardcore gangster rap and they were trying to get him to be brought up on Treason charges purnishable by death.
Vice President Dan Quayle used his anti hip-hop campaigns to get ahead in the elections. Even talked about 2Pac whose Black Panther background is known.
So when Alicia Keys made those comments I was like?????? Huh?? Whut Happened???She should have kept those comments to herself hip-hop is succesful because controversy sells!!!
I dnt hate her though, she’s still very attractive and her album is dope!

I must say the verdict is still out on this one. Like 50 said reporters have tapes for their conversations and I’m sorry if she did say those comments then I must agree with 50 on this one. No music can MAKE ME KILL ANYONE! I know exactly where/if Alica got her information from to say that and I am here to tell you that she is 100% wrong. But if she didn’t say that then 50 needs to apoligize for what he said. I usually agree with 50 but even Banks and YaYo were bout to say she was taking out of context until the Boss chimmed in with his feelings!

Damn yayo and banks cannot step out place..the body language and dynamics were crazy telling-
whatever 50 says goes, even if is nonsense, if you don’t toe the g-unit(50) line then he gonna stomp on you hard!
Sad when ur a grown man and ur still being bossed, by a knuckle head like 50.

Oh my god this video is hilarious! All you previous commenters (except for D.time) are totally missing the humor in this video. Yayo and Banks are like “no big deal, she retracted her comments” in the beginning and then a couple of minutes later they are like “yes fif, you right”… LOL. Yayo shifting his body position says it all… He is like, what the hell is 50 sayin. Yeah, them two are shook to go against the grain in any way…

You can tell they don’t agree but are afraid to say it. But it has been obvious for a long time that G-unit solder is a synonym for “50’s bitches”. 50 basically pays Banks and Yayo to be his bitches and to listen and agree with whatever he says. But I can’t blame 50 though. If I had the money he had I might pay for people to agree with what I say no matter what to, right or wrong lol.

see what alicia did was discredit everything that N.W.A started.what the hell was that?they started this gangsta shit and this is the motherfuckin thanks they get?a stuck-up ass r&b chick giving props to “the U.S govenment” for creating it?those people consist of old rich white men.and here i thought gangsta rap was started by a couple of talented hood niggas from the west coast.
and why is it when people say dumb shit they suddenly blame the magazine for “misquoting them” or “being taken out of context”?!?!

HA! I love how they try to intervene, 50 doesn’t listen, and then they nod along with him even though they already showed they know he’s wrong.. take notes kids, that is how to be a SOLDIER!!

Some of ya’ll are stupid or can’t read and comprehend just like 50’s dumb ass! If you’d bother to try and understand what she said, you’d know that she was saying the TERM gangsta rap was created by the gov’t not the GENRE! And she was taken out of context on at least one thing, because that AK-47 reference wasn’t even in the same section of the interview. She, however, took responsibility for not being clear on what she meant by her comments, but I feel if you’re educated and thoroughly read her original comments, yo should’ve understood she was speaking FOR “gangsta rap” NOT AGAINST it.
