“What you resist, persist.” -Buddha
I would think of all people, Q-Tip would’ve understood this concept more than anyone, being he’s one of the more concious artist the game has seen.
The more we hate on/complain about shit, the more we strengthen whatever it is we’re oppose to.
Prime Example: Lil Wayne

why does everytime someone has an opinion about anything its instantly a sneakdis to someone else. Is Kanye even the posterboy of autotune? Or is he the one of the few who have been able to make something good out of something over-run with mediocrity? (duh, the latter)
Its reactions like this which produce robot automatron artists who never risk sharing a real human reaction. (ESPECIALLY since Tip was actually referring to a random girl using autotune)
If you handcuff all the people with experience and humor…then life will be very dull.
Oh and how bout this…I like Heartbreak but I think I woulda liked it more with less autotune.
No sneak there.

ok theres a lot of rampant shitting on ron browz goin on here. ron browz is great at what he does.. his music makes kids uptown want to dance (get lite), which it has been doin for the past like 4 years.. its only now that he’s been brought to the mainstream as an artist that theres scrutiny.. Pop Champagne, Arab Money, and Jumpin Out The Window are all incredibly good dance songs…
and Tip, you a fool for this one.

@mad
We’ve seen that form of artistic expression with George Clinton and P-Funk…music is recycled and formed to fit a current era. Take it or leave. Ha!

I love 808s, but I would’ve loved it more had he wrote those songs for a real singer, auto-tune or not.
Has anyone heard any of the covers from other artist like Kells and Patrick Stump? They all kill ‘Ye on his own shit.
Imagine Quincy Jones singing Thriller instead of MJ… lol that’s what Kanyes 808 is.
