I think Usher & Polow were just handling their “business”. I think, although Gucci had plenty regional success at that point, he couldn’t compare to Jeezy’s starpower, so they went in that direction. Like Gucci said, it’s definitely a regular industry practice. Aside from that, I definitely gained a new respect for this dude. He may never impress me as an “MC”, though he is definitely a good “rapper” (if you need clarification on this statement, holla) but he did impress me as a man, if he’s being totally honest and this is his real demeanor (this is my 1st time listening to him).
