Many rap fans keeping up with Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy saw this coming. Following Gucci’s recent interview on The Breakfast Club on Wednesday morning, where he called Young Jeezy a sucka and said he has no respect for him, plus Young Jeezy’s response on Friday, Gucci Mane hit the studio to record “Truth.” The diss song, aimed at his long-time rival, clearly references The Snowman citing his one-time relationship with Keyshia Cole, the death of an alleged CTE/Jeezy associate in 2005, and his recent birthday party with T.I. in which Gucci Mane attended. Fittingly, the song cuts to the record that started Gucci and Jeezy’s much-publicized beef, their 2005-collaboration “So Icey.”

“I did a song with Keyshia Cole and I know you still miss her/ But Puff was fu***ng her while you were falling in love with her.”

Trap God, the mixtape arrives October 17th.

UPDATE: Gucci Mane releases the video for “Truth” shortly after. Watch the clip, plus Gucci attacks T.I. on Twitter, and Keyshia Cole reacts to the allegations made by Gucci.
