Raekwon Speaks On Joe Budden Situation in Toronto from Real Frequency on Vimeo.

wow….this was unexpected. After my boy Ciph told me that he saw the icewatertv tape of the incident at Rock the Bells….my sharpeyed reader Sean sent over this clip of Raekwon onstage in Toronto, from Muziklee Inzane from The Real Frequency (big up to T-Dot family). Inzane quotes Rae as saying:

“This is about a kid who gets off on doing blogs. My thing is, I’m a business man, I’m here to make money, take care of my family and keep as many people safe as possible. We not gonna take it there cuz that’s little shit… we are grown men. I will never jump out the window to sacrifice the situation with my family for something that ain’t worth it. I don’t want nobody to hurt that man or do anything to him because I’m so known in so many different places, that’s the easiest shit in the world… I don’t want that. We are going to keep it moving with hip-hop, he knows to respect his elders… that’s it, I got love for him. I love you, Joe Budden.”

wow.
More from Muziklee’s description after the jump

“Raekwon took a few minutes to speak on the situation with Joe Budden in between classics like “Incarcerated Scarfaces”, “Rainy Dayz”, “Daytona 500”, and “Verbal Intercourse”. After confirming he still has possession of the infamous tape, he went to say the following:

He then segued into his verse from “Eye For An Eye”. Lets hope this marks the end of this fiasco. More footage from the show coming soon, stay tuned. Shout out to the homies Covert Ops (Arcee & Marvel) for opening up the show! Covert Ops EP featuring production from Jake One, Rich Kidd, MoSS, Mr. Attic, and more coming soon!”
