(Golden Globes: Tina Fey basically says in the nicest way possible what we’re all thinking: “Taylor Swift, get off your back.” ; )

This isn’t really up for debate….the best thing about the Golden Globes last night was those two sassy broads up there, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. They showed the world how to be lovable and hilarious and hot, without all the gag-inducing faux-sincerity of Anne Hathaway, or twee angst of Lena Dunham, or gimmicky buffoonery of Sacha Baron Cohen, etc. In fact…the biggest problem with the awards were that they didn’t just have Tina and Amy in a skybox doing ongoing commentary through-out the entire show.

Highlights of the opening monologue included zingers against Zero Dark Thirty director Kathryn Bigelow’s megalomanic ex-husband James Cameron (Yes, the Titanic/Avatar director), against Quentin Tarantino, and Hollywood overall.
The other big hits of the night? Well besides Les Miz, Lena Dunham, Homeland, Jennifer Lawrence and Argo…were the moments when things went off script and got weird.
There was funny improv weirdness. And then there was the baffling but heartwarming coming-out-of-the-closet weirdness of Jodie Foster.

Oh, one other thing that I loved about the show…Tina and Amy’s fake nominations in full costume for a fake movie called Dog President. Buzzfeed even mocked up a movie poster.
