The release date of much anticipated Wu-Tang/D-Block hybrid album, Wu-Block, was officially announced today.

e-One Music has scheduled the collaborative album to hit stores on October 9. The joint venure, spearheaded by Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch, will feature guest appearances from both Wu-Tang and D-Block, including Method Man, Raekwon The Chef, GZA, Jadakiss, Masta Killah and Styles P.

“This is a unique street album combination like carnation milk with oatmeal. And a dash of cinammon. We got killing on lock. It’s like assisination day – nothing but darts being thrown. It’s like Batman and Robin shit. It’s real street sh*t for the fans. They’ve been thirstin’ for this,” says Ghostface—in true colorful Ghostface diction.

And Sheek affirms the sentiment: “Other people trying to sell albums together. Those are radio albums. This sh*t is for the street.”
