Here’s something you absolutely were not expecting on a dreary winter Monday….XXL reports that Waka Flocka Flame has signed on to be one of PETA‘s celebrity “activists”. He’ll be posing for their “Ink Not Mink” campaign, which is basically a way to appeal to the tattoo-types and maybe a way to bring in more men (as opposed to the traditional nude female PETA posters, see Taraji Henson’s recent shoot).
While the combo of Waka and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals seems awesomely bizarro, he’s a little late to the random hodgepodge….”Ink Not Mink” has already snagged Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Amare Stoudamire, Steve-O, and Mario. So it’s not so much the concept that I love so much….it’s Waka’s quote that is pure gold.

It’s always good to see a new artist defne themselves. It helps consumers frame them better and maybe find some common ground. I treat my dogs like small children. I identify with him on that. It is definetly a good look for Waka.

Standing up for what? Some publicity? Fuck PETA too. There’s far too much human suffering to throw all those resources into this cause. (I’m not mad at Taraji Henson though.) I fucks with Waka for that brainless get hype music, “TTG” and “For My Dawgs” are the HEAT. Sorry though, but this is pure nonsense. Genius moment, sure, but it’s not a “real” moment in any sense of the word. “Would you want someone to skin your kid?” Is this dude serious? LOL. Where did his Louis Stewart gator bag come from? What, he had an ailing alligator on reserve to make a bag from when it died of natural causes? PETA doesn’t care about the integrity of their spokesmen, so fuck em. This is the funniest shit since Waka’s gangsta ass mom said he was an avid reader. Stop the madness.
