Picture 95

(Please note: Waka is absolutely not wearing any fur at his “Oh Let’s Do It (remix)” video shoot. However, Diddy and Rick Ross are wearing the pelts of 12 forests. Especially Ross. Just saying.)

Here’s something you absolutely were not expecting on a dreary winter Monday….XXL reports that Waka Flocka Flame has signed on to be one of PETA‘s celebrity “activists”. He’ll be posing for their “Ink Not Mink” campaign, which is basically a way to appeal to the tattoo-types and maybe a way to bring in more men (as opposed to the traditional nude female PETA posters, see Taraji Henson’s recent shoot).
While the combo of Waka and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals seems awesomely bizarro, he’s a little late to the random hodgepodge….”Ink Not Mink” has already snagged Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Amare Stoudamire, Steve-O, and Mario. So it’s not so much the concept that I love so much….it’s Waka’s quote that is pure gold.

Animals should be treated the same as you would a kid. Would you want someone just to walk up and skin your kid? Hell no! -Waka Flocka Flame, 2/7/2011, America, Earth.

genius. moment.

Some more of the existing PETA “Ink Not Mink” images, as well as some animal-friendly Waka ones…
After the jump…
