haven’t Game and Jay-Z been taking subliminal shots at each other for soo long? Is there any concrete reason why? Anyways, I guess we can add this new song from the Game “My Bitch” to the long list of volleyed offenses. [NOTE: wait, now someone is telling me the song is old and just leaked....hmmm]
Interestingly, soon after that time when The Game went out to Europe a while back and got onstage and said “Fuck Jay-Z,” I heard from an insider in his camp that in order to avoid any public beef, the OGs here in NY who work with Game had a talk with the OGs who funded Jay-Z’s start and are still involved in his career…..and they mutually agreed to control their interests and make this beef disappear…
But as we’ve seen in different examples…The Game often agrees to one thing and then does another.
Oh, and of course 50 Cent and Suge Knight get dissed here too….but what’s funny is how nobody seems to care about that. We just cant imagine anyone dissing the lord Hov, lol…

This is the best diss in a while-hate it or love it this dude came hard!! Whether it’s old or whatever it’s dope and if it was before doctors advocate then it should have been on the album (as well as “still me”). This point in time i’m a fan of game over jay any day of the week. Jay spittin them garbage bars over rihannas umbrella joint was straight-up embarrassin for a lyricist of his calibre. Game more street than jay AND this joint alone shows his creativity/lyrical ability. And although most beefs are played out, i wanna see these cats go at it. Couldn’t give a **** about the majorly played out/fake/boring ass shit goin on between game and fifty, unless Em gets involved…..

after listening to this song about 5 more times, I gotta hand it to Game….its pretty entertaining and clever. In some ways, the Jay-Z part doesnt even feel like a personal attack. It feels more like a fan’s commentary about Jay-Z….and its the same opinion that I hear alot from just regular hip hop fans. Like the bougie part and the Biggie part etc. Not saying its totally fair but its Game’s opinion. Anyways, it’ll be very interesting to see what happens next because as I see all the time….rappers are not expected to have independent thought, lol….

I really don’t understand kids nowadays (not to say I’m old, I just turned 22) But It seems that alot of them are gravitating towards these fake ass rappers. How could you choose Game,or Wayne over Hov? 2 years ago who were you listening to? 5 years ago who were you listening to? 10 years ago who were you listening to? There isn’t another artist who’s had the impact on the rap game that hov did. Who else can make or break a product with one line? Who the hell else can get a generation of young people to put down jersey’s and pick up button downs? Really how many of you can relate to game or wayne. Nice diss, as a Jay fan, i will give credit where credit is due. Game needs the be careful though. All he needs to do is look at his man Cam’ron and Dipset to see what happens when you take on too many significant beefs at one time. Also, he needs to learn from Jay, just because you win 1 battle (Mobb Deep) does not mean you can win them all (Nas). Game is treading on thin ice. He’s already lost Dre, who else does he have left?

lol kk i admit i might have been abit rash and got some shit twisted. In terms of overall status and accomplishments etc there’s no contest between the two, and some of the stuff jay’s put out, even last year, was on a level game couldn’t touch (that grammy fam freestyle…incredible) BUT, at this point in time, jay is a buisness man first, not a rapper-i just feel game got more hunger and when he’s in his zone he can come with it. Also, IMO, as lyricists they both dope-and they both represent east/west coast in they own right. Game rides and kills ridiculous beats with energy and hard bars, while jay got some of that deeper lyrical ish goin on…but sometimes even his flow gets lazy when it used to be one of his great assets. shiiit, all this talk and there prob ain’t gon be nothin, lol – ah well, hiphops all drama these days!

i agree with reppin516, there is no way game is nicer than young hov. game just drops names when he spit over and over again. he cant write a 16 without droppin somebody name at least 3 times. his last album sucked, how can you get away with sayin dre name so much after he wants nothin to do with you?? his first album merked this past album. i could listen to kingdom come way before this game album and way more often. if game wasnt signed, niggas would knock him so much. it would be sad how much they would knock him on the strength that he lies, switches his standpoint on damn near every subject asked about, and drops names so much. oh and his career was built on hot production i.e. dre, timbaland, kanye, just blaze. everything else made without those producers was completely mediocre and lower. hov wont care about homeboy and nobody else should either.

@west coast….man, I get that request all the time but the only way i know you can hear hot97 streamed live 24 hrs a day…is on the Amp’d Mobile phones. We arent streamed online and I’ve heard we wont be anytime soon….But you can subscribe to alot of the hot97 jocks podcasts, which deliver our shows to your email…and fyi (shameless plug) I also do a weekly series on Amp’d : )

The track is pretty hot, IMO, though, like people have pointed out, Game’s not really saying anything about Jay that hasn’t already been said (which is what made “Ether” so devastating). Anyways, I don’t want to get into the Game vs. Jay discussion. The Game is very much a creation of the media and hype machine. But then, so is Jay. (I mean, when was the last time he recorded anything that made you really go “whoa?” Hint: when was the last time he collaborated with Premier?) And also, if you look at the production credits for “The Doctor’s Advocate” and “Kingdom Come,” they’re ridiculously similar (as are those for “Hip-HOp Is Dead” – and, from the leaked track listings, “Curtis”). That, in a nutshell, is what’s wrong with hip-hop today.

No one should attempt to go at Jay anymore. Nas flat out murdered dude on Ether and no one will be able to come up with new jabs. Ether is the illest diss song of all time, period. Comparing any1 besides Nas or B.I.G to Jay is absolutely ridiculous. You can put on Reasonable Doubt right now and play it straight through and it’s still better thAN ANYTHING OUT (and that record is 12 years old). Some1 further up here said “what has Jay done”…well He’s the only artist that I can truely say held it down 8 straight summers. He’s released 9 real albums (I’m only counting Reasonable Doubt(classic), Vol. I, II, AND III, Roc La famila-Dynasty, Blueprint I (classic) & II, Black album (classic), and kingdome come (yuck). His “wackest” albums are better than most ppls best efforts and he has at least 3 classic (which to me means perfect) albums. How many other artist have dropped that much material and had such a high success rate (not just record sales but success meaning good, relevant music)?

I know that I might catch some heat for this, but here’s MY opinion. Hip Hop has turned into a nightmare right before our eyes. It’s so much rap beef going back and forth between artist that seemingly gives out half good music to listen to. Which album was better…Kingdom Come or Doctors Advocate?
I would have to say Doctors Advocate is better. Even though I don’t think Game is anywhere near Jay lyrically…it’s crazy how Game put out a better album than he did.
Both of those albums came out within 2 weeks of each other also.

Is it me or are we going crazy??? first off let me address those people who say Kingdom Come was the worst album made.
