Game Prepares His Feature Heavy Second Single & Talks Nelly Furtado Collaboration
Posted by Mr.North under interview[8] Comments
Last year going into the summer Game has two singles, one with Pharrell, and another with Justin Timberlake. Many thought this was a sign that we’d finally get to hear his oft-delayed The R.E.D. Album. That obviously didn’t happen, fast forward to a year later where Game has his “Red Nation” lead single with Lil’ Wayne out, what looks to be a set release date (Aug. 23rd) and recently he revealed that his second single, “Bottles & Rockin’ J’s” will feature a lineup of Busta Rhymes, Lil’ Wayne, Fabolous, and Rick Ross. The good people over at Rap-Up caught some time with Game in-studio to talk about the Lex Luger-produced cut and another collab on the album dedicated to his mother that features Nelly Furtado, produced by The Neptunes.
Props to Rap-Up
After the jump Game talks working with Tyler, The Creator of Odd Future who also appears on The R.E.D. Album….
Props to Rap-Up

Its smart of him to have a song with Wayne and Ross on it. Getting them while they are two of the big artists on radio is smart.
Game knows he cant generate that attention on his own so having them on the song is a great move for the album, if the song is hot and its a banger on the radio that will be huge for his album.

I Think Jeezy has the biggest chance to revive his career just because of the loyal fanbase these southern artists got down there.
and if you look at his 2 singles ballin and lose my mind they both charted top 50 on hot 100.

if game had some serious hits with them artists mentioned they would have rolled off the tongue quicker, the fact he struggled to reel them all off suggests to me that theres alot of quantity, just not enough quality
