gdep-confession

Tuesday morning, G-Dep found out his fate as the former Bad Boy rapper was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the 1993 murder of John Henkel. The NY Post was on hand for today’s preceedings and quoted Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Michael Obus, who spoke on the lowest possible sentence allowed by law.

“The circumstance of your being before the court now suggests to me a maturity and decency that wouldn’t have been evident at the time. It was the right thing to do, even though it landed you in the position you find yourself in now.”
